Hasn't been sighted yet. BBTS supposedly have shipped theirs out and HTS says they're shipping out in the next business day upon ordering.

That just changed recently though with HTS. Before it was slated for early March to ship.

So, even though I ordered from HTS while they still said they'd ship in March, they'll now ship them in the next day or so, right?

If so, that's really cool. However, It leaves me without TFs in March...

i got mine with samurai prowl for this figs sake i wont compare him against prowl im biased and that isnt fair. now waspy returns to us and i have to say a very nice fig over all love the wasp mode has a ton of personality alot like his other predacon mate BA. its a staple of this line to give the alt modes as much personality as the bot modes this is imho thou you might take it another way. the transformation is simple but i really think thats a plus with this fig like BA u can go from alt to bot mode real quick which makes for great playability. he bot mode itself oozes personality and i swear to god you can hear waspys voice spewing forth everytime u look at his face. all in all id give him an 8/10

    Got him today from HTS.

While I normally don't care much for beasties aside from Dinobots (never liked BW), this guy is all sorts of awesome.

Only issue I really have is in insect mode, if his shoulders are completely folded in like the instructions say to do, there's rather limited articulation for the appendages.

I'm also not entirely sure how the tiny appendages are supposed to be in wasp mode. There are grooves that the little arms clearly go into but the rubbery parts I dunno how they're supposed to be put in place. I just tuck the little rubbery parts under his mouth.

First time I saw Animated Waspy I was pretty underwhelmed, but knew I'd get him anyway. It is Waspinator, afterall.

I'm starting to like him more every time I see him, especially because of dmc2008's rockin' photos.

for those that got him with instructions....is the right wing configurement with his wings up or down? I know most pics have him with them up but in his character bio they are down

I can't wait to get this thing. Though it may never show up in my area given how Tformers have been the past few weeks.

    Pros:
    * Looks properly monsterous in either mode.

    * Wing-flap gimmick works very well and doesn't get in the way of anything

    * Reasonably articulated and posable, despite elements of the transformation that could have easily gotten in the way of jointing.

    * Wasp head fits into the robot mode well.

Note: It's kind of interesting that, even though there is no bug leg kibble in the robot mode, it has extra bug legs in the robot mode anyway.

    Cons:
    * Wasp mode is a little awkward, looking like it was designed to be hung suspended to look like its in flight. Putting the wasp with feet on the ground looks odd, like the bug is staring at its own front feet.

    * It's not easy to clip and unclip the arm parts from each other to go between modes. It feels like they risk being bent or broken when doing so.

    * I don't wanna be "that guy", but I kinda wish there was a bit more of BW Waspinator in this toy. This is "scary monster" Waspinator, as opposed to "sympathetic loser" Waspinator. I'm not sure what it would need to get there. I might consider painting a raccoon mask around the eyes.

Overall: It's a good middle-of-the-road toy, so how much you like it may depend a lot on your pre-conceived notions or your opinions of the character. Hopefully we'll see him in this form in the cartoon soon, so we'll all know for sure.

P.S. the "can survive getting blown to pieces over and over" in his bio is a nice nod.

I just got Waspinator. Veryyy awesome! The vestigle arms are super posable. I have them mimicking his main arms for maximum comedic effect.

Beast mode is lacking, but the bot mode totally makes up for it. I also wish there was more of the neon green or purple in bot mode to break up all the dark green everywhere.

I love love love Waspinator. I think they did a great job and the design lends itself to cartoony very well. I agree the wasp mode is pretty basic and underwhelming but the robot mode is nice and articulated and totally makes up for it. Very fun!

I finally got this guy after a longgggg wait and I love him! His joints popped off really easily at first but thats nothing a little glue couldn't tighten up. Wasp mode is as everyone else said, pretty blah, but robot mode is great and has so much personality and he's definately in my top 5 of favorite animated toys

the tiny arms on mine come off a bit easy.
He's still pretty neat. I like how his arms can split, kinda reminds me of General Grievous.

I finally found him and he is amaziing. Sure the transformation is easy but, the robot is all kinds of awesome. A extremely worthy addition to the animated toys.

Nice pics Kylash so clear & natural looking. You should be helping with our galleries If you are'nt already.

Found him twice while grocerin and passed both times , but everytime I come home Im regretting it.

Oh crap, I forgot to get some eggs hehe

Edit- He was still there. Great fig, and the wing gimmick works nice. Alot of fluttering action for such a simple button press, and it's not stiff at all so it won't leave an imprint on your thumb.
Im glad they left the stinger alone, or there may be a huge gimmick sticking from it. He also gives off better wasp vibes, could scare a little kid easier than the old Waspy would. If you chased him with it.
Quick transformation is always welcome since both bodes are nice. The tiny extra arms in wasp mode (near his head) are neat how they fold up into his robot chest.
He's a nice suprise if you're thinking about getting him.
