I apologize for this complete failure on my part to give this thread the comparison father-and-son pictures it deserves. Forklift Mode
If you don't like forklifts, I'm afraid much of this experience will be lost to you. However, if you are like me, a man who gets a little sweaty over something wholesome like a good solid forklift...
...then our time has come. The only major nitpick I have is that the forks can't raise and lower. Transformation
Spoons the 2nd basically stands up.
Then, the rest of him splits open and swings around his flanks. There's a neat bit of automorph in that raising the shoulders also raises the head. Spoons the 2nd Mode
In clear defiance of his canon father, Spoons the 2nd wears his forks not as shoes, but as deadly melee tonfablades.
He's incredibly posable despite a lack of a neck or waist joint, in part thanks to his wrist hinges and odd double-hinged ankles. These ankles are also a sour point, though, as they don't actually have any locked position and can shuffle about rather easily.
Also, I'm somewhat disappointed that you can't fully retract the forks. The best you can do is have them in their vehicle-mode L-shape. Overall Thoughts
This is the toy to get from this foursome of scouts. He's absolutely unique, has a great pair of built-in weapons, and is the son of one of the best Gobots toys ever. No man crosses Spoons the 2nd and gets away with it.
NO MAN.

You've forever doomed the Feedback thread for this guy to be titled "Spoons the 2nd".
That's awesome. |

That, or they're replacing the Real Gears, with random vehicles instead of gadgets. Quote:
