Just got this guy today, and he is a lot of fun.
As Vangelus suggested in his review, he does have a scary toothed mouth. Both the head and the bottom jaw can move up and down (although you may want a couple of days' worth of fingernail growth to be able to get at the bottom jaw).
Better yet, in keeping with his bio, the whole head-and-jaws assembly pivots up, allowing him to hunch over on all fours. This is where his oversized door kibble comes into play; the doors hold most of his front weight when he's on all fours, allowing the claw-hands to drag along like gorilla knuckles. With his jaw open, he looks like someone with whom you would not want to frak.
So far, the movie scouts are major win.

P.S. - The official transformation calls for the trunk to be folded up high against his chest, thus allowing his legs to have a full range of motion.

P.P.S. - Also, each leg has independently moving heel and toe, plus two ankle joints.

I really like this li'l guy. Not every day you see a TF with balljointed hands, let alone on a Scout. I don't really get why his shoulders don't peg in anywhere and his chest panel is really floppy; is there any way to lock that down? In car mode he suffers from a touch of "Alternator syndrome" in the sense that the panels don't hold together very well. Still, he is leaps and bounds above previous Scouts and I think he's the best one out of RotF.

I haven't been able to play around with mine too much, but I do like the looks of it. My first impression was that it was a little difficult to get everything to line up in car mode, I really had to force the parts together. Otherwise pretty fun. I didn't know it had that much head articulation, I guess mine just has super tight joints. I'll play around with it more and maybe add some more stuff to my post here after I do.

I picked this guy up today. He is figity to get into alt mode. I didn't realize the lower jaw was mobile. Thanks for that tidbit. Weird robot mode but that is what I like about it. I also like that he is like a robotic vampire.

After playing with this guy a bit, I think he may have been intended to be a movie-style Ratbat. With his energy-vampire bio, coupled with his claw hands and batlike head (those two cheek-level tufts on his head are very batlike), he's definitely some sort of callback.

In fact, if you pose him so that the arms are spread out and the doors line up with the shoulder panels, then get his legs into a sort of crouch with the heel spurs folded back, he even looks like a bat, it's almost a third mode.

I like this guy - lots of personality.

Anyone have a pic handy of this guy in alt mode next to a deluxe car? I know it's smaller, I'm just wondering how much smaller.

/\ nice job. I'm not a big fan of the car mode, but it looks pretty good in your pics.

I did a little touch up of my own. I picked out the outline of the lower jaw with a permanent marker:
Until I get a new lens I can't really get any closer, but I think you can see it. This must surely be the first scout class mold with jaw articulation. Pretty cool.

^ I did'nt even know he had a lower jaw until messing with him.
Pretty cool for a scout. Moving jaws ina TF is a rare thing indeed.
Looks good what you did, easier to make out the overall face

Been treating mine as a drone, except Im too poor for troopbuilding. He'll just have to die alot.
