While I respect the movie designs, I didn't rush out and buy any of the figures except for Jazz. The designs on screen are pretty intricate and don't translate to the toys. Although they have grown on me over time.
But, yeah, something about that Soundwave I really like - toes are weird, but overall I'm pleased. |

Well, on first impressions from the review... He looks like a lot of fun to transform. The way everythnig slips and slides around is nice, really fits with the Cybertronian design. The head looks like a nice homage to previous Soundwave's too, which makes me happy.
That aside, he does look a little frustrating to keep in his robot mode... Just the way his torso keeps folding in on itself as you moved it looked like it could bug the hell out of ya after a while.
I'm not gonna go out of my way to get him, if I do at all, and I'd really like to see more shots of what changes he will have made towards a retail release. Quote:

...Wait a minute, it's Soundwave; His screen time WILL be awesome!
Gigiddy!

I've posted in other threads that I don't like it, but they way he looks at me with wanting eyes, I can't resist. I'm sorry, I take back anything negative I have ever said, sure he has his flaws, but I can't wait now. Thanks for the review as always. |
