Animated Swindle Pictorial Review

At long last! Anyone interested in some used energon converters? Why don't you come in and talk about it, I can cut you a deal.....

Yep, Animated Swindle showed up on my door today, and I couldn't be happier. I've been waiting on this guy for MONTHS. But enough about that, let's look at the toy! Swindle is a generic Humvee/SUV in alt mode:

Granted, a generic SUV with a GIANT (removable) cannon on top! Just for a size comparsion, here is is with Animated Soundwave, since they're roughly the same size:

And now, with roof attachments!

An neat thing about the cannon is that all the little vents change from dark purple when unloaded:

To bright orange when the missile is loaded (He's chargin hiz LAZOR!!)

Transformation is pretty simple, the rear becomes the feet, the hood splite to form the arms and the underside flips up to form the torso, and voila!

Boy, he sure does look like a nice guy, willing to sell you some decent equipment at crazy low prices, doesn't he? But wait, you think you can find these things cheaper somewhere else? But I thought we had a deal. And if there's one thing that gets me riled up, it's someone backing out of a deal!

Yeah, that's what I thought. Just sign right there and we'll pretend that never happened. Excellent! I'll have the servitors bring that out to you.

Yeah, he's armed to the teeth. Arm cannon, shoulder cannons, and the chest mounted gatling gun will certainly make the squeamish customer think twice about reneging!

Finally, here's a shot of Swindle with some other Decepticon guest stars!

By request, shots of the sides/back:

He's a little on the short side, but that really helps evoke his old G1 figure. Overall, an excellent figure. Nicely show accurate, lots of personalilty, and plenty of weapons. A good solid "A" figure. Pick him up when you get the chance.

He is shorter than I expected.

Can you take some side view and back pics?

Thanks for the review! Man, I really want to like this guy but the clear limbs and hands totally ruin him for me. I'll cross my fingers for a repaint (his Prime-like body would make for an excellent Scourge/Nemesis Prime).

Wow, Hasbro relly went above & beyond with all the extra stuff on this guy, the venting on his cannon is a real nice touch. Can we get a pic of him with Universe Onslaught, Leader Brawl, Blackout(If you have him) and Henkei Astrotrain(substitute for Blast Off)?

Thank you.

Wow, his face really is flat. Kind of like Soundwave.
Why do they have so much in common?
