I saw him yesterday at a local Target. I'm going to hold off and get him in the next couple of weeks.

I caved. I picked this up.

Also, yes. The DCPI is 087-06-0146. The same as Superion. The case is marked as Wave 2.

Without a doubt my favorite of the Energon combiners. All joints are nice and tight, colors look great, great pose-ability, nice little transformations, everything fits together so well, and it's a great value to boot (4 scouts and 1 deluxe for only $30:eek: .) I can't recommend him enough. If you like combiners, armies of well armed robots, or anything I mentioned above: this giftset is for you.

Got this guy a few days ago and love it. I had the energon version and sold him off sometime ago. This paint scheme is awesome. Blast offs purple is soooo nice.

Heres some pics I posted in the cool stuff thread of a different transformation for the hands and feet since I hate the clear hand/feet parts, but couldn't figure out any transformation to make hands that didn't look stupid with out some of the clear parts.

This is by far the best feet/leg and arm setup. The 3 fingered energon claws for hands look awesome, and you get elbows and stable feet.

DAMN IT!!! I finally found one and my Swindle is missing his tail fin and rotor.

**EDIT--- I found the tailpeice and rotor hidden under one of the flaps of the box. It pops off at the slightest breeze.**

Found him today and can't wait to get home from work to open him up. Never had this mold so I'm looking forward to it!

**edit** - seems my swindle has a broken tail rotor as well that I didnt notice in store ... hopefully I can find them again this weekend to replace it!

Just got mine today, and I have one question. On the tank mold, is the piece that has the arms/turret on it supposed to be further forward than the original poster's pictures? I've seen some pictures where it looks closer to the front than on that one and mine but that's how it comes out of the box. It feels like it may break if I force it.

Edit: Like here in Seibertron's gallery: http://www.seibertron.com/images/toys/files/25/r_swindle006.jpg

there are two joints below that turret. One spins the turret and the other swivels it farther to the front. It should be to the front in Tank and limb modes while in the back for the arms to get to bot mode.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was a swivel, I thought it maybe pulled out or something. He looks just a little bit cooler with them down. Now that I've properly transformed him, he's a very cool figure that I highly recommend if you find him. The scouts are excellent as is the mold used for Onslaught.

glad to help. The old Energon versions came packed in tank mode so the turret was down to begin with. With the turret up the tanks must have made some lousy legs for Bruticus.

Got him last week and love this guy. I'm amazed at how many different configurations you can pull off for his limbs as Bruticus!! I wish I had more Energon weapons to equip these guys with.

If you look at the rotor where it attaches through the center .. it has 3 "clips" that hold the rotor on .. one of those clips was completely broken off which is why it wasn't attached .. so yes it was actually broken.
