Have you tried putting the feet flat in robot mode? I get the impression that's the intention from the Takara photos, and would make the toy a bit less "damn that's tall." (yiff) .
| It does look better that way too. I just wish the chest could be slid down as to balance out the appearance more. MACROSS News! GUNDAM News! ....Everything Else! H.I.S.S. Tank! G.I. JOE News & More! |

Still, I appreciate the fact that some Beast Wars characters are getting a remake alongside the G1 characters. | So - no more Oracle reformats for Cheetor then?
And yeah - I'd like to see a side view pic if possible of the backpack. Your pics don't really convey how big it is. |

(yiff) I'm less than enamored with it as a hand weapon, but it's kinda necessary for the beast mode.
Looking at the toy, I think maybe the biggest failing is the arms, which appear too short to be proportional with the lanky body and legs. If they were longer I think it would help tie the overall look together better for robot mode. How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end

I feel the main problem lies in the fact that awesome beast mode is rather accurate for a cheetah, but of course a rather spindly (though fast!) feline form isnt the easiest to make into a humanoid bot, unless hes rather scrawny looking, in this case hes not just scrawny (animated blurr is scrawny but looks amazing) but aesthetically a mess. Hes rather the opposite of original cheetor who had a great bot mode and a compromised cat mode.
Still, he could be fun to transform and hopefully kids will like him. |

Worst mold ever. | As much as I LOVE Beast wars, Cheetor and the like, I agree. Terrible figure. At first I thought I saw some stuff I liked about him, but no, no redeeming qualities as far as I can see. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:
