Here's a slightly less uncomfortable way to pose the shoulders so they sit lower.

Unfortunately they still can't make much by way of useful poses like that, but it looks a bit better to me when he's just stood there. A lot of the arm articulation problem could've been solved if the top part of the cheetah forelimb shell behind the forearms could hinge out of the way.
