universe/classics 2.0 starscream review

Received this guy today in the mail

bio,

tech specs

His universe colors are almost bone white, red and blue

Now to the review,
Alt mode

Jet colors are very close to the henkei version except the grey is now bone white and the red is a little brighter
A very nice homage to g1 starscream in alt mode
Bot mode

Bot bode is also a very nice take on g1 screamer warranting a henkei and universe purchase. They are just different enough to justify both.
Bullet Points,
Painted face

solid red,white and blue colors
darker red and well done details.

For the record this version has VERY tight joints and the launchers fit quite snug in his arms.Makes me wonder what happened to the henkei figures or if they remade the mold.

Very highly recommended when he arrives at retail in December if you find him.

I'm interested to see if there's any problems with the mold this time around...

There were problems with the Classics Starscream mold? Odd. I remember getting the first Classics Starscream and I didn't have ANY problems whatsoever. Either I'm incredibly lucky or there's something I've missed...

Looks nice, let us know how the quality is compared to other versions of the mold, if it sucks I'll probably be going with Henkei.

Probably refers to mold degradation, like what was found on the Henkei TC & SW or on some Acid Storms.

Oh damn! This is the figure I have been waiting for. When I get this I can paint my current Screamer to TC.

Looking incredibly forward to tomorrow.

Sorry I meant as in, the mold is degrading. First SS was spot on but recent repaints like Acid Storm and the Henkei Thundercracker / Skywarp have been bobbins.
