Mine doesn't snap in at all, and it kind of rests OVER the bottom of the chest piece. |

It snaps onto itself, the piece it folds into. If you've got the waist plate over his "stomach," I think you've either got one too high or the other too low.
Anyway. I wanted to post in this thread as I'd picked this guy up along with Cyclonus and Starscream the other day, but I was just lazy to search for the thread.
Hound's great and all, but I really bought this for Ravage. This is an awesome Ravage. And any complaint I might have had, I just fixed by taking things into my own hands.
Sorry if it's hard to see the mouth for the fangs, I'll try to get some better pictures up.
Edit: Oh, here. |

I preferred the colour of Classics Hounds thighs, so they got swapped over, and as it happens the Classics Hound rear bumper on his feet are the same colour as the Henkei thighs, so that looks pretty good too.
I love how easy Classics/Henkei are to mod, and if only the G1 rifles/guns could fit in the fists they'd be perfect. |

It's a matter of preference really. I don't transform Octane the way he's officially supposed to go either. |

I tried pushing it in, thinking it would snap into place, but it doesn't. Is mine messed up, or am I doing something wrong? |

For me, it's just a matter of finding a good place for it in relation to the black bar that connects Hound's upper half to his lower half. How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end |
