Ravage: eject! Operation: snuggle time.

Got Hound and Ravage tonight. oh man oh man. SO awesome. Hound may be the bot of the year in my opinion. Just sooooo perfect. And Ravage is worth $10 by himself. We live in truly amazing times.

Snagged this guy yesterday. Ravage is cool, but doesn't really do it for me. He isn't as 'clean' a tape as his original, but he gets points for being 3D. If he could strike a menacing pose, I''d like him a lot more, but he seems only capable of ok, if slightly awkward stances.

Hound on the other hand is only brought down by the sketchy shoulder mounting of his weapon. Jeep is swanky, transformation is satisfying, and he comes out looking great w/ good mobility. I was looking forward to this release and he didn't disappoint which, in my experience, means a pretty good figure.

Got this guy today and I'm loving it! Love the blocking dimensions and the transformation. One of my favorite figures.

Attached are some pics of Ravage with my G1 Soundwave (the one I got as a kid back in the 1980's). As you can see, Universe Ravage does fit in an original G1 Soundwave. However, it is a TIGHT fit. When I pressed the eject button to get Ravage out, I had to pry open Soundwave's door with my fingers. It's such a tight fit that I don't think I will put Universe Ravage back in him again - I just don't want to break my Soundwave figure (it's one of the few Transformers from my childhood that still remain).

I just thought some people out there might be interested in pics w/ a G1 Soundwave rather than the re-issue. Sorry about the lighting. I'm no professional that's for sure.

Yep just got my Hound/Ravage myself and got Ravage to fit once in his tapedeck door. I'm rooting for a universe one to come out.

Hound on the other hand is amazing! I also found a way for him to have turning wheels in vehicle mode! I'll post pics later once i get my camera.

jet gotthis guy a few hours ago and really it was more of a "he looks awesome and I like the character" buy it wasn't an absolute must have but I was wrong about that. He IS a must have. Awesome transformation and the added bonus of ravage is great as well. He's just a really good looking transformer

Funny thing is no customization needed. The joints are all there already for it to work. The wheels are already on a hinge, so I experimented and found out that mine turn while in vehicle mode. I'll post pcs in a bit. I took them with my blackberry and need to upload them.

Universe Hound just became my favorite TF of 2008.

Absolutely flawless, IMO.

ams: Dude, you own three different unlicensed City Commander toys and a half dozen fake third-party Prime trailers. WTH?
