Other than that, I LOVE this little guy. He's a great, well-thought out figure with innovative transformation and good articulation. It also helps that G1 Hound is the first Transformer I ever owned, this is an outstanding update.
Pure luck. On both of mine It was just trial and error. I kept pulling it off and putting it back on, and it was really loose, really loose, and then one time just sat on nice and tight. I have no clue what changed it. And then I got jinxed when a fellow member was asking about it over IM. I popped it off to check and I still haven't been able to get it to stay on as well as it was. So yeah, just luck.

Oh, and Gouka, I TOTALLY spaced those measurements on Ravage. I'm really sorry about it, it just got put on the back burner with all the busywork lately. I just sent myself an email to remind me about it when I'm at home later, so I hope to have those for you later today.

In Tape Mode, Ravage is 1 15/16" long, 1 3/16"high, and 7/16" thick.

In normal Jaguar mode he's 3" long, 1 7/8" high, and just over 1" wide at his thickest point.

Sorry for the wait.

hey, just a quick question about the pictures...you said test shot was on the right...do you mean the right from us viewing the picture, or the one who was on the right side during the picture?

i realized that it could be either one, depending on your point of view...basically, i want to know if the black forearmed one with mismatchy colors is the retail or the test shot...

The Hound with mismatched colors is the testshot. Everything has been completely fixed for the retail releases of wave 4.

I just got him today, and I can't get his weapon to go straight on his shoulder. It faces to the left.

Just opened mine. Had a big paint glob on the rear but I got most of it off with rubbing alcohol but you can still see it. Transformation is pretty cool, but the legs end up looking weird. But you can get him in decent poses if you work at it, and the ankle hinges are nice. I don't like how the chest doesn't really lock into anything. And the neck doesn't really lock either. His shoulder cannon doesn't hold on at all. Still overall he looks cool but could of been better. Ravage is pretty cool. Great update of the original tape but I wish you could close his jaw. G1 missiles fit on him perfectly.

Picked up mine last week and like everybody else my biggest complaint is the issue of the shoulder missile not fitting in strait in robot mode but that is a minor issue (for me at least.) Universe Hound transforms almost like its Alternators counterpart except for a few areas ( i.e. seats transform into his thighs.) Posses ability is fantastic. You can almost posse him whatever way you want. The only thing I would have improved on was to add shocks to each wheel like movie Landmine. Purchase him if you can.

Push the black spine piece back until it touches the dashboard. Then fold the hood chest down. It should click into place perfectly. From there, the tabs on the neck piece should easily peg into the proper spot for robot mode.

Also, as an added bonus for anyone who owns a G1 Hound: His missile launcher uses the same size clip as the modern version's weapon.
