25th Anniversary Universe Optimus Prime (pic heavy)

I thought Id throw together a review of this guy. I hated opening it, but I couldnt wait to get inside (thats what she said)

First off, the box was beautiful. It is really well done and makes it feel ok to spend 70 bucks on a toy. I almost do not want to take out the comic because the boy in me loves thinking the comic is mint. I also do not want to open the dvd but I know I will.
The trailer is great. I have had a huge smile since I took it out of the box. I’ve never owned a G1 prime so it was so fun taking it all out of the package. The trailer is made of really nice plastic that feels solid. Opening it up reveals some very nice detailing and I can see myself repairing many autobots with all the tools within it.
Prime is awesome. Can you say rubber wheels? Yea.. Rubber wheels. (trailer too of course) Its obviously not very articulate and his head doesn’t turn but the chrome and paint apps are very very nice. My only complaint is as you can see in the pics, there is a red piece on his chest that does not match the rest of his body. All that chrome is so shiny that I get distracted anyway
The stand is cool. It can be either a belt clip (just asking for an ass kicking if you wear it, but ill be wearing it to watch TF 2 ) or just a stand that has a few popular prime phrases in cullens voice. It even plays a clip the o.g. transformers theme. Nice.

This set as a whole is just really really nice. I’ve wanted this mold for a very long time and I have it! It is worth every penny in my opinion. I could take so many more pics of this set but enjoy!

Feel free to ask any questions!
I failed to mention that it does come with a sticker pack..

I believe it is metal.

The back of the DVD has the same synopsis as the side of the box and says that it includes:

The first 3 episodes of the original animated series

3 original desktop wallpapers

Never before seen megatron and optimus prime character art!

If you want the longer smoke stacks, Ages 3 & Up has them for only a few bucks. I bought a set for my TRU Ultra Magnus and my Pepsi Prime.

I'm a "gotta-catch'-em-all" TF comic collector, so when you do get around to opening it, do you think you might be able to take a close-up pic of the front cover, inside the front cover, the first page, inside the back cover, and of the back cover itself? I know,I know, it's a lot to ask, but I'm really curious as to what those things look like and how they differ from the original comic. Since I'm a comic completist I know I'll somehow get one someday, but there's no way I'm buying the entire Prime package to do it. Thanks! Good review!

Many thanks to kjeevahh for the sweet sig.!!

Does the Roller launcher in the trailer work? They took the spring out of it for no good reason for the CS release, and I'm wondering if they put it in this time.

its only that much brighter because of the flash.

Looking at it in regular light, it looks fine.
