I'd like to know how the picture quality is for MTMTE (aka the 1st 3 eps of G1) -- is it the Rhino pre-broadcast masters or the syndicated versions that are on the Chinese box set?

Also, how do the "never before seen" character art of Op and Megs look? Are they recent comics artwork or actual original character models? And what do the desktop wallpapers on there look like?
Anyone? Bueller?

My wife got me an Optimus for Christmas, but I waited until today to open it up. I was waiting on some replacement stacks from Spencer that I ordered during the Agesthreeandup closeout sale. As has been said already the lighter shade of red really isn't all that bad. I took a couple of pics with my light box and a comparison pic with my Childhood Optimus. I use my lightbox mainly for smaller figures, so sorry about the cardboard showing in the far away comparison shot. My wife picked this up for $46 shipped which I think is about what the original price for this should have been. It is an awesome set and this makes my 4th prime with my original and 3 reissues. It was great to see G1 Prime again here in the U.S.

The other nice thing is the bubble insert was made for a prime with longer stacks, so he fit right back into the box without any problems.

Does this prime come with a sticker sheet similar to the original G1?

I didn't check out the sticker sheet yet. I'm guessing it is just like the one from the japanese reissues. At least that is how I remember the other Hasbro reissues being.

So it would be same stickers as the original G1, but the Japanese Transformers logo instead of the English one.

First off, the box was beautiful. It is really well done and makes it feel ok to spend 70 bucks on a toy. I almost do not want to take out the comic because the boy in me loves thinking the comic is mint. I also do not want to open the dvd but I know I will.
The trailer is great. I have had a huge smile since I took it out of the box. I’ve never owned a G1 prime so it was so fun taking it all out of the package. The trailer is made of really nice plastic that feels solid. Opening it up reveals some very nice detailing and I can see myself repairing many autobots with all the tools within it.
Prime is awesome. Can you say rubber wheels? Yea.. Rubber wheels. (trailer too of course) Its obviously not very articulate and his head doesn’t turn but the chrome and paint apps are very very nice. My only complaint is as you can see in the pics, there is a red piece on his chest that does not match the rest of his body. All that chrome is so shiny that I get distracted anyway
The stand is cool. It can be either a belt clip (just asking for an ass kicking if you wear it, but ill be wearing it to watch TF 2 ) or just a stand that has a few popular prime phrases in cullens voice. It even plays a clip the o.g. transformers theme. Nice.

This set as a whole is just really really nice. I’ve wanted this mold for a very long time and I have it! It is worth every penny in my opinion. I could take so many more pics of this set but enjoy!

Feel free to ask any questions!
I failed to mention that it does come with a sticker pack..

it had stickers? oh yeah i remember!
