I held out on Starscream because I knew there'd be repaints coming. This guy looks much better, so I might get him once I see him.

So I opened mine last night and man... I don't remember the last time I was so disappointed with a TF. I Love Skywarp so that may have lead to some of the disappointment. I was really looking forward to this figure.
Issues with mine...

He has a few sloppy paint apps that weren't visible in the package. The purple made it onto a few parts of his black arms where it shouldn't be.

His left leg swings freely backwards but is way, way too tight to move forward. And his Feet are incredibly tight. As in they really didn't want to open up.

I can't seem to get his body to lock together. So when I pick him up from the front he wants to de-Transform. I think the gearing on his Auto-Morph maybe off but no matter how much I toy with it I can't seem to get it right.

And his left thumb is so tight it seems like it's spring loaded. Lift it up and it immediately snaps back down.

Sigh... I think I'm gonna fiddle with him some more cause I just got so frustrated that I just set him as carefully as I could on the shelf and said F' it. I think I come across another one I'll pick it up and then return this one. Needless to say I'm incredibly disappointed.

Finally picked this guy up on sale. I'm so behind the times. I did buy a Starscream right when Animated first hit but it was missing his thumbs so I returned it and they didn't have another to swap it for. Since then I'd not come across another in shops unless it was an imported one which cost more than I wanted to shell out.

Anyways, after opening this guy in the shop to check he had his thumbs, head and flaps (after getting him for cheap I didn't want to have to spend petrol and parking to take back a faulty one and eat that saving away) he's now happily stood on my desk next to MP Skywarp.

The Automorph on mine works great - the Starscream I had before would pop his head off I did the mechanism and was a bugger to stick back on. This one is nice and sturdy and the head stays in place.
Nothing is overly loose in robot mode, and in fact his hip joints are rather stiff, but that does mean trying to pose him results in the thigh swivels popping out unless I take care.
The flaps on his back I'm not going to bother opening for robot mode as they just pop off and I don't want to lose them. Leaving them closed doesn't really affect the figure in any way. Thumbs seem pretty secure but I might just glue them in place to be sure I don't lose them.
Jet mode stays together well, although it did take a bit of massaging to get everything squared away right. Those knees just didn't want to slot into place behind the wings.
Paint looks quite clean, with only a few light scuffs here and there. Nothing to ruin my enjoyment.

All in all, after the problems I had with Starscream right out of the box, this guy restores my generally good feelings about the figure. He's not the best TF:A figure but he's not the worst. I shall enjoy having this guy cowering behind his Masterpiece cousin.
Autobloke in everything but name.

I regret not buying him. Then, I would have Animated versions of the Seeker Trio once Thundercracker comes out.

Maybe, he's osomehere in stores so I can get him.

Mine has feet that you need to open with a prybar and the flaps in the back fall off him with a slight draft in the room. His paint job is good though, and the rest of him is pretty tight. All of my seekers fingers are brittle though. Overall, besides the quality Control items on this guy, I love him. Just wish they could have molded in a scared expression instead of the cocky Starscream smile.
The last thing anyone wants is to stress Bozo.

Yeah, the feet on mine are really tight too. One wouldn't open all the way because of an extra notch so I had to shave that down with a knife.
A different head would've definitely been cool. I suppose if Hasbro had been willing to commit to doing all the clones from the show they might've had different expressions for each one. It's not like molding an entire new head, just whacking different eye and mouth shapes onto the faces. Probably be something a good Radicon could do easily, take a normal head front (don't even need to make a new back piece) from this mold and produce copies with different expressions on.

If I had any skill like that, I'd do it myself. I'd model each expression off the Seekers page in the Allspark Almanac. With just that little bit of expression, you get the personality.
