There is something about purple and black that is so damn sexy I just can't resist this mofo. Thanks for the review, I will pick him up as soon as I see him. |

I picked Skywarp because I absolutely love the colors. -on that note have you noticed that Meg's, Starscream's, and Shockwave's repaints involve black and purple. Anyway, this way, to my quick review. Jet Mode:
Looks awesome from above, actually quite amazing. Highly detailed, shiny / full of glimmer paint and plastic. pretty solid as well. The cockpit is the best detailed jet cockpit I've ever seen and the orange canopy contrasts wonderfully with the black, purple, and silver. Turning it over -the bottom of the jet is somewhat clumpy and complicated looking, not bad for a jet but nothing like the top of course. The landing gear looks great, not like an after thought. (when coming back to jet mode from robot pull the nose when you're done, it gets a bit longer and locks) (Gripe 1)
I don't like where the guns are located -on the bottom of the belly not pointing exactly foward Transformation
The engineer deserves praise here....it does a fair bit of transforming by itself. (The chest locks if you push it in to his abdomen) (Gripe 2)
Mini-wings open from the rear, but mine breaks off every time I flare them open. (trying super glue now to tighten) Robot Mode
AWESOME. Light piping in the face works really well. I don't mind the sneer, it adds loads of character. Proportions are awesome, I prefer the look without the missiles. His hands are in bar curl position...this was a gripe but not really anymore -they're just so easy to pose in great positions anyway. He has these neat foldout details in his wrists that are unbelievable, but also confounding, since he has cannons on his wrists already. There were some things I didn't like: (Gripe 3)
The thigh break-point-swivel-joints... I hate them, I wish it didn't swivel there, from what I can tell it wasn't designed to need those joints and on mine, though they stay on, the thighs swivel rather freely (taking super glue to the nubs now). (Gripe 4)
Last gripe...my right hand fingers are very loose. (already fixed with a super glue coating)
In short, I'd buy it again in an instant!
-and I'm ignoring the little bio, he does not look cowardly, he looks like a bully.
That's it! I thank Hasbro for a wonderful repaint!
Let me what you guys thought of Skywarp! |

Had to put some nailpolish on the leg joints otherwise they flopped all over, otherwise he's good. Love the shiney paint they used on him.
