Activators Thundercracker Pictorial Review.

Got this guy in the mail today after an awesome ebay win from Deceptigtar. There's not much to say about him that hasn't already been said in the many Activators Starscream reviews. Here are some pics:

He's a much darker blue than I expected. I know they have to differentiate him from Starscream, but wow. He's a REALLY deep blue/purpley color. His chest details are silver, and all of the other red detailing on Starscream is now purple on Thundercracker. He retains all of the poseability and awesomeness of Starscream, in a different color. The only issue with mine that that the nosecone doesn't like to auto fold out when going to jet mode. It folds up correctly when activating the gimmick, but seems to get disconnected inside the robot mode. Not sure if that's something common to this repaint or just a misaligned gear on mine. Still, the gimmick still functions and he's a repaint of arguably the best activators mold available so far, so he's definitely worth picking up.

Video is up:

He's plenty accurate for me.

BFF TC & SS!

Thanks for the review and pics!

I have an odd pic request: can you take a picture of them on one or the other's shoulders fighting Leader Megs?

That dark Blue reminds me of his Armada counterpart, looks nice but a pass for me.

Nice pics, Peaugh. But I still think that Bumblebee is the best of the Activator molds I own so far, but Ratchet is actually a pretty close second. I still need to pick up Prime to have all of the current molds.

TC looks more like Skywarp to me. I'll probably call him that unless they release a Skywarp activator (seems like a given, but you never know).

Yeah, I thought Skywarp at first myself. Getting him into a better lit room helped. He's definitely blue, just darker. I may do a little more silver on him, at least filling in the torso bits.

I'll just repaint Starscreams, the colors they use are too dark for my liking.
