Sadly one of the ugliest repaints I have ever seen.... this is an awesome mold that needs help selling... but that's not gonna help.

 

Can we get a pic next to Movie Ratchet if you've got him?

 

Okay, I can appreciate that Yellow is the new Red when it comes to sports cars and stuff... but on a van... big, fat, ugly, Ronald-McDonald FAIL.

Further harmed by the fact that this deco suggests no good G1 repaints to me. Yeah yeah... geewun, blah blah...

However, to get a more traditional G1 Ratchet out of it, you could parts swap his off-white bits with regular TFA Ratchet's maroon bits and end up with a mostly white bot. But then you'll REALLY have an eyesore left over.  

If Hasbro really wanted to sell the hell out of this figure, they'd give us repaints in red (Ironhide), blue (Skids or Gears), or black (Trailbreaker)... maybe with head remolds to match. But this figure is going to get 9 out of 10 fans turning up their nose.

No kidding. I can unbderstand the colour choices, but not the placement. Holy mother of God this looks disgusting. (I know it's silly to say that at a toy, but the colours are so much of an eyesore it makes my stomach uneasy) Maybe if the grey was black it would offset the yellow more, but then he'd just be Bumblebee Ratchet. (or Hotshot Ratchet with that red)

Animated Rescue Ratchet review.

Didnt see a thread for this,if there is please move.

WARNING: This review will be abit biased as I REALLY like the Ratchet mold.

Ratchet: As I said, great mold really. Im not sure if it's just my figure, or if the mold is dissintegrating, but my figure is much looser than my regular ratchet. Hope it stays long enough for an ironhide remold. The color scheme is much better in person, and the yellow doesnt bleed your eyes out like in pics. Still, they shouldve gone with the movie green.

Prowl: Hes already been reviewed a couple times, so Ill just say he's as good as they say. Hes got good pose ability, and with some creativity can be put in some nice poses.

Starscream: He's alright, but low Articulation. I hope all the seekers are repainted from him. His transformation is a bit annoying(specifically the head) He looks nice in both mods though.

Id really recommend this set, mostly because you pay for a deluxe, a legends, and a one dollar legend. Its a pretty good deal and you get some nice figures. Pick it up if you like ratchet. If you dont pick it up now, pick it up on clearence later. 10/10.
