So it finally arrived!!

Trailer snaps on rather snugly, though i have yet to fully test it.


Moving on to the REAL highlight:


I'd say the plastic they used is really strong, with very vibrant colors and more importantly, no paint QC screw ups. The parts themselves snap on fine, though the hands feel a tiny bit loose than they should on mine. The legs can be quite tricky to get in, but don't be afraid to push it in with a little bit of force.

On the the actual figure itself. His head is ball jointed. His poseability is slightly hindered due to the armor so only his legs retain the flexibility of the original figure. His shoulders and arms tend to get in the way of pulling of some neat poses, especially with the BFG. The gun itself, adds extra weight, and tends to keep the arm down so unless you got tight joints on your Magnus' shoulders, its a little hard for poses. I personally just keep it to one side.

One neat feature is the comic itself, which also serves as the instructions for the trailer:








Not sure why my comic features Powered Convoy instead of Magnus himself, could be some packaging mix up. The art is pretty decent, though i sure as hell don't have a clue who Pharaohtron is.

i got a question, i've been wanting answered,
can it hold the old g1 Ultra Magnus gun?  

 

very very nice love the henshin section of the comic like prime turned into a toku version of himself and its the instructions also how sweet is that. and i think veksta of our boards did somthing with the comic. didnt you venk ?

 

Wish i could answer that, but i don't have G1 Magnus at the moment.

 

Oh man I can't wait till I get hold of my own set  
I hope they'll do a repaint of it and a head rescuplting so we'll get him as a Powermaster Optimus Prime version   it would be sooooo awesome.

I've heard the G1 Magnus missles mount easily on the figure, I'm hoping to get a set of those and the G1 gun to go with him. I've got my Hotrod holding a set of his G1 guns at the moment and it looks great.

Can't wait to get mine. I love how they did the instructions, but there seems to be a couple steps missing at the beginning.

You think they changed the colors in the comic to avoid any legal issues?

I hope they do come out with a powered convoy version . the mix of red/black/blue looks very nice in the comic
