Universe/Classics 2.0 Silverstreak feedback thread

hey guys...got these 3 today

and noticed that silverstreak has not got a pictorial review..
here they are out of the box

silverstreak is quite a nice repaint of universe prowl (minus the sticky doors )

(bit dark, sorry)

i dont have a pic with prowl in vehicle mode, coz i didnt have prowl in robot mode at the time i took these pics..but apart from the obvious paint differences, its the same..without the siren on top

transformation is identical to prowl, and the robot mode is pretty much identical to prowl too

here's a comparison between the two

more comparison pics

overall, its a very G1 cartoon accurate silverstreak, with the only non-accurate part being the name of the figure...the red/black/silver look is very nice, and unlike Classics 1.0, where we had to wait for henkei versions to get cartoon accuracy, this time around hasbro's getting it right too...maybe the paint quality itself isnt as great as a henkei figure might be, but its good, and definitely better than prowl. at least my figure is!

here's a 3 way comparison

and another

if u want any more pics of the figure in either mode, let me know..
also if anyone's got this figure, please add photos urself...i didnt want to make this thread too photo-heavy....hope u enjoyed..its a very good figure

Cool. I imagine a lot of people are gonna trim his horns 1) for more cartoon accuracy and 2) to further distinguish him from Prowl.

I take it from the pics that his windows are totally clear, right? I like the painted effect on Prowl's since it conceals his 'bot innards in vehicle mode.

ur right, the windows are clear blue...doesnt really show much of the insides, but i guess prowl's is better..dunno why they changed that? wat do u mean, trim the horns? doesnt G1 bluestreak also have the same kinda horns that prowl has got?
EDIT: after a closer look at a cartoon comparison pic, i noticed that bluestreak probably has shorter horns..i think im leaving mine like this..
good point, though

Looks as good as I'd hoped for. One question though: is there a reason you have Prowl and Bluestreak's arms like that?

You have them right but they are rather oddly posed. Nice pics btw.

The shoulders normally go more up and back. Personal choice, obviously.

Not only the shoulders.

But his Feet slide down from the legs so they can pivot and pose and give him ankles.
Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff
