Oh, hot damn. This pic right here made Wolverine go from "buy if you see it" to "start the hunt." Man, I hope my stores get him in soon.

 

When I first saw the pics I had a feeling Wolverine was going to be a great toy, and I'm pleasantly surprised to find out he's much more fun than I had anticipated. I love the way his front tires slide both in and up to get them out of the way, and my only small complaint is that his right upper arm is loose and won't stay compacted into the shoulder.

 

That pic seems to have an effect on people, it made Wolverine go from "Impulse Buy" to "Buy next time you hunt" for me.

 

Hows the claw gimmick? dose it seem like it would be simple to swap another set of claws on him? Or cut down vertically to seperate the blades already on him?


Maybe warm them up a bit, and use a razor to slice them apart. Then boil them while having something prying them open a bit

 

I think it'd be easier to separate and whittle down what he has, than trying to get a new set in there. Then again, it all depends on one's skill level.

 

He has thigh twists?! HOLY SHIT THAT IS AWESOME! I love that kind of articulation! Makes dynamic poses so much easier to pull off. Still wondering if this would look better as a repaint(because Hasbro loves to repaint every mold at least once). We could get a more realistic truck with his current X-Force costume colors, and then there is the brown costume which ruled. The tiger stripe one on this mold looks too bright for me. I intend to pick this up but waiting it out to see if a repaint makes an appearance might be best for now.

 

picked this guy up a few days ago and I love him! Great articulation, fun transformation and good quality. I can see with a new head & paint scheme this being another character entierley, and not a crossover transformer.

 

That's what I intend to do to a Wolverine X-over once I find one to use to turn into my custom Decepticon  Looks like I'll have to sand the head down majorly if I want to give it the visor and mouthplate ala Sondwave style, though...

 

Definitely! I am getting this today to kitbash to another Autobot, not sure who yet but somedoby in this thread did mention Trailbreaker. I think it is an awesome idea.

 

This guy is probably the best "crossover" TF figure I've seen - except for maybe Darth Vader/Death Star.

He beats out many mainline TFs in design and articulation.

The only flaw I see on him is that his arms won't lay flat against his sides - his elbows have to be cocked out. Minor gripe.

Highly recommended.

 

Picked him up the other day, glad I did. All that time staring at the back of the box at the store paid off.

Solid toy and more poseable than the package pics may have you think. One of the better Marvelformers. Really liking the claw gimmick and all the opening panels in truck mode. That's where the imaginary missle launchers are stored at lol

 

Can't wait to get this toy!

Yes, though honestly his current X-Force uniform color scheme would probably work best, and inadvertently look the most realistic for truck mode.

 

On mine well the factory kinda forgot to put some screws in his lower right leg to his foot and back foot, so I think if I have these screws then he'll be okay if not man its a bummer.

well, they had the marvel and star wars lines, and, those were, eh, ok at best.

(beware johnny stormjet, his elbows are transparent plastic, so, they tend to break.)
