Looks nice, pretty striking overall, though like a lot of recent TFs you'll probably want to see a lot of them at once,so you can pick and choose the best paint apps.

I love this figure. There, I said it. It took looking through two shelves full of figures, and only a sparing number of actual Fractures, to find a single one that didn't look like crap, but now that I've sort of gotten a decent one, I'm quite pleased.

The joints on mine were all terribly loose, so I had to do a lot of tightening, and I foresee some issues with loose balljoints like her neck (mine seems to be almost narcoleptic) but the mold doesn't seem to have taken any more damage than Hasbro's shoddy QC could already supply.

The colors, concept, everything about this screams "Must-get." In fact, the poor quality control is about the only downside to this figure. Just don't mail order it...buy it IN PERSON, and pick the best one you can.

At the very least, I am glad to see the Energon/Cybertron molds taking a rest, and a really awesome Classics mold getting to shine again.

What is the difference between the pre release and regular version of Fracture?

Would very much like this, had GoBots when I was a kid as well and Crasher always was one of my favourites.

Any idea if Wal-Mart Canada will be carrying her?

Mine from the same pool SS got... (same store, same batch) paint job isn't perfect but I can live with. The only loose part is the waist.

Mine's pretty tight. No QC issues at all!

I'm really hoping this signals a trend with Hasbro to do some Go-Bot characters for some of us old-schoolers. I would love to see Leader 1 in one form or another (maybe a seeker re-paint or something).

    Movie Fracture

The mold on Fracture is one of my favorite Classics molds, but on the figure I got the paint apps were some of the worst I've seen in some time. Has anyone else had this problem?

With mine, there were flecks of red on the white part immediately under the Decepticon emblem, and a lot of the black parts had rough edges on the outline. It almost looked like the paint machine had been miscalibrated by a fraction of a millimeter, and the closer I looked at it, the more it looked like the paint was just... off. I don't know how to describe it. The front wheel bars black paint looked very badly done and stood out from the black on the rear carriage. Also Fracture's raccoon eye-liner (an homage to the original Crasher) was hit or miss.

Overall, though this is a nice figure, I thought the paint looked like a bad kitbash.

    Anyone?

Just like most Hasbro figures nowadays, you have to sort through all the ones at the store to find the good ones. I looked through a few before settling on one and it seems to be ok. If you really don't like it that much, go try to trade it in for a different one.

According to Cybertron.ca, we get Fracture and her wave mates in October.

I'd love to see it in Canada, I really want one and that would be more affordable to buy it in store :)  The figures looks really good, I want it more now!

    Bring more Go-Bots homage please!

I know, right? Leader-1's an F-15 anyway, so that's an obvious one to do. Though I'd rather have a Sunstorm repaint of that mold first.

I just picked one up over the weekend. I think it's a great mold! And the price was right too! $7.77. The guy who designed this should do all TF's because he's a genius. Robot mode looks great, is extremely posable and then alt mode just looks awesome! It's a perfect 10!

    I really want one!
I'm trying to win an ebay auction on her, and my bid is winning, but I feel stupid for having to raise it to ~ $30... :(

You should be looking around in the Junkion Exchange section for Fracture. I just got one for a great price a few weeks ago.

What an awesome mold. I got lucky with mine in that the paint apps came out looking great without being able to really get a good look at the figure before purchasing it.
