Scale was bugging me a bit at the start of the line, but now it's just a non-issue for me. The toys and the show are just that good that I can ignore it. Even Voyager Bulkhead took his spot back from Leader Bulkhead on my shelf.

Sentinel looks great. Always was looking forward to him. Great review Peaugh.

Huh. Looks like if you were taking pics from the waist up you could fake the Sentinel/Optimus scale pretty well.

Wow. Thats a pretty sinister looking expression.
    He looks downright Decepticon.

I can rapidly see him gaining points in the 'Why should I buy' list.

His robot mode may be out of scale, but his altmode is the exact right size if you're basing scale off of Voyager Optimus. In fact, his snowplow mode is, in my opinion, three times as cool as his robot mode.

Just wanted to add my two cents-

Sentinel Prime is a new character created for the Animated toyline. An Elite Guard soldier, Sentinel breaks nearly all established Autobot characteristics- he's rude, cowardly, egotistical, sycophantic, and an all-around jerk.

Call Mr. Plow, that's my name; that name again is... I'm just gonna stop that right now.

Sentinel Prime's Vehicle Mode is a snow plow. I admit that I'm happy to see the designers push the envelope a little when choosing vehicle designs; to my knowledge there's never been a plow-based TF before. Its a decent vehicle, detailed and compact.

Initial pictures of Sentinel Prime made him look somewhat tiny. For the most part, these were wrong- Sentinel's an above-average Deluxe; decent height and HUGE shoulders.

Articulation is just OK. He loses points for having no movable wrists or waist. Sentinel's main weapons are a matching shield and lance. I'm not sure why he's got the arsenal of a Medieval knight, but whatever.

As you can see, the Headmaster CAN fit on Sentinel and ends up looking halfway decent but it does not lock in.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Sentinel Prime. Upon hearing that he's only be a Deluxe I felt mildly let down, but he's a very fun toy and looks great with the other Autobots.

(this last shot took forever to get right, but-IMO-was absolutely worth it)
