Activators Starscream Pictorial Review

Getting back to pictures with my videos, up now is Activators Starscream:

Another nice little fig, and about as show accurate as the voyager version. He adds show accurate arm cannons, but also adds non-show accurate jet mode kibble in the form of his entire arm. Still, not bad for such an ambitious little figure:

Transformation, again, very simple. Push the button, pull out his legs, unpeg his arms, and flip the cannons around, unfold his feet, flip up the head and landing gear, flip up the shouldpads and fold down his fins on the back of his legs. Robot mode is again, comparable to the voyager. About the only real difference is that the back flaps don't fold out:

He's incredibly poseable, just about every joint in on a ball joint, and stable to boot. He's easily the best of the first three activators, and honestly, even better than some of the bigger figures. I know we're getting the Thundercracker repaint at this size, I'm really hoping we see Skywarp and Sunstorm at this scale as well. I wasn;t planning on liking these that much, but after buying Bumblebee and Starscream for my daughter, I had to go back to the store to snag a Starscream for myself. He's that cool!

That is the activator I have been looking forward to the most. Its like an automorphing g2 cyberjet.

Also I didn't know which thread to thank you in, but I'll do it here. Thanks for doing the pictorial reviews man! I've read almost all of them and enjoy them.

You're welcome. I've been bad about doing them lately because I've gotten so much stuff that by the time I've shot the vids, I don't feel like shooting the pics. So last night I just hauled them into work and did them, took about 6 hours.

Thanks for taking the time to do that man! Does Starscream have landing gear towards the front, or just the 2 on his legs?

I got Screamer a couple days ago. The best out of the Activators so far, IMO.

Oh, and to answer your question, yeah, he's only got back landing gear.

This dude ROCKS. He's so much fun. I like posing him with the Voyager or just by himself.

He looks fun, but I'll be waiting to get him for free w/Leader Megatron at TRU. Same with BB and Bulkhead.

It looks great in both modes, and the robot mode is very posable, neat little figure for the price. Very pleased with it.
