My only real complaint with him is that it looks like he has no hands. If I get him, it'll only be because he came with Leader Bulkhead

I saw this Bumble at TRU today- I would've bought him, but he was $9. $9 for an Activator? They're essentially the new Basic figures, and those were usually $7. I mean, you could get deluxe BB at Target or Wal-Mart for an extra dollar.
So, I'll wait til the Activators show up here, in town, at Target.

He does have hands. Hands appropriate for high-fiving.

Funny, I got all three for $9 each. (the price of a basic since forever here) so yeah, they do cost the same as basics for us.

After getting BB I'm definitely going to paint his wrists and hands black. Not show-accurate, but it'll help define them from the arm panels. I think Hasbro could have easily put little seperate hands on there similar to Animated Soundwave's hands. There's room for them.

Bitching aside, I LOVE this little guy. They really put more articulation in there than I would expect at this size (thigh and bicep swivels? WOW!) and th overall finish and feel of the plastic feels really high quality. He's easily > deluxe Bumblebee to me.

I just picked mine up and aside from a front right wheel that doesn't spin too freely, I kind of like him. Mine has an "automorph" gimmick doesn't work perfectly, and I wish his doors pinned to his sides. He is a pretty cool figure, and I like it that he is just that much closer in scale to Voyager Bulkhead and some of the other figures.

Picked me one of these up today in TRU for a fiver. He's actually far better in-hand than seen in photos, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much articulation he has, although even with those joints his elbows don't get much range.
I think my main disappointment was that his 'push-button conversion' is actually a 'push-button half conversion'. The way it's been described led me to think a push of the button somehow did the whole deal. It's not a huge problem, but really it just boils down to being another basic Automorph.

Anyways, his transformation is a nice G1/Classics Bumblebee affair which I much prefer over the contortions the deluxe has to go through, and the light on his chest bothers me not one jot.

And now I've sampled it for myself, I'm perfectly happy to pick another one up for my five-year-old neice.

Just got this guy and I think it is a pretty cool little figure.

Pros: Cool Transformation
Good articulation
Cons: Hands...(or lack thereof)

Picked him up yesterday. Have to buy another for the goddaughter, this one's MINE! He's great fun to play with, and such a good TF in such a small package. Anyone in the UK wanting to get one: Argos are selling them for £3.74 at the moment. Not sure how long that'll last.

The perfect haiku would have just two syllables: Airwolf.

Sales catalogue says 22nd August.
I already had an Activators Bumblebee and went out today to pick one up for my neice too. Unfortunately they only had Starscream and Bulkhead, but I nabbed those for myself. We have two Argos stores here so I'll try the other tomorrow for that Bumblebee for the kid.
