Universe Blades

Kinda surprised there wasn't a thread for this already.

Before anyone asks, this is one of those ones out of China. I did not purchase it in a store. I've also had it a while, which is why I'm surprised there was no thread for it.

The Cybertron Evac review can be found here.

Since there aren't any changes to the mold and pictures are worth a thousand words... I figure I can make a fairly lengthy review with a couple pics.

Faction Symbol:

Cyber Key inserted:

Attack rescue chopper (whose bright idea was that?):

Regular 'bot mode:

Attack 'bot mode (or as far as I'm concerned, 'bot mode):

Close-up:

And the text-portion of the tour:
Blades is easily my favorite of the uses of the mold. I see it shelfwarming because of the Springer/Ratbat comic pack... But Blades is definitely worth looking at. Definitely a great toy, definitely a great display piece. I bought Evac after I got Blades (because I was so impressed) and I really felt like I had two different figures, with Blades being the better of the two.
Thanks to Maximus_Prime for the avatar!

I am so looking forward to this. The mold suits Blades far better than it does Springer.

The perfect haiku would have just two syllables: Airwolf.

I agree it's an excellent repaint concept (though I would've hoped for a white head and blue face, myself.) Looking forward to getting one.

Too much red for me, but it's still cool!

There are no Transformers in Afghanistan or Kuwait!

Now I want this guy, but I already have Evac, so Evac's gotta go.

This is the Evac repaint I was waiting for. No other Copter-bot would be as perfect for this mold as Blades imo, and this is definately proof of that.

"Get over here!" Top work, sir. I shall surely be checking out how you did that as soon as Blades hits the shores of good ol' Blighty.
