In the old G1 cartoon he used to say "And away we go", the letters and the small numbers behind it basically spell it out.

Neither WalMart nor Hasbro really have anything to do with quality control. All they did was put in an order and get the toys shipped. The guys at Takara do most of the design work with Hasbro's input and suggestions.

But ultimately, the toys are made and boxed at the factories in China. And quality control would be their job there.

Besides, one toy with a missing chest piece out of at least five-thousand. You just drew the short straw that comes with buying toys. Sorry.

Too bad I haven't heard anyone else complaining the same issue... maybe I need to wait a bit longer... but once I found another one to replace this defect. Peace.

That would generally mean that quality control is working, and you just got the one out of a thousand that slipped through the cracks.

good news, I did get a replacement just moment ago (two remain at the store so I didn't have to waste more gas to shop/hunt)... after opened the box, got rid of that two twisty holding the tail, flipped up the tail end, and examined the chest cover.. indeed there should be a metal pin holding that cover .. but the one I got last week did miss that part and the pin during manufacture.

Just opened mine and it is missing the Missile for the gun.
not gonna return it or fuss, though a bit let down.
i don't really care about a projectile i might lose (and i have lost things in such odd ways.)

they fixed the over-tightened screw issue at the wing to body joint.
now i need to tighten it a smidge, lol.
peace out!

Hm.

So, it seems Redglide has questionable QC.

I'll have to be careful.

Rest in peace, Pickles. We'll never forget.

Well I got Powerglide today. Other than the paint having scratches on his faceplate he's great.

If anyone knows what the matching color is, please let us know. Otherwise, he might end up being my first silver sharpie dealie.

I'm not too surprised to hear about there being some QC issues with this batch after the minor problems I was having with Hardhead. I'm guessing this initial release might have some problems like the first wave when they were originally released (i.e Onslaught's faulty siren).
