Getting back to doing full pictorials as well as video reviews, up now is Crossovers Spider-man:
Thanks to Tony Stark and Reed Richards, Spidey's got a new mech, with an alt mode that matches his speed and agility:
I like how the windscreen in alt mode looks kinda like Spider-ham:
Not a bad cycle mode, his web missles form the exhaust tubes, and he's got a paif of kickstands in what become his shins so he can display upright quite solidly in alt mode. Transformation is fairly easy, with the exception of pushing the front wheel/windscreen assembly through his legs to the back. Unless you're REALLY careful, at least one of his legs is going to pop off. It snaps right back on, but a little more freedom in the joint would fix the clearance issue. Robot mode is pretty standard Spidey, evocative of movie Arcee:
You can load the missles into his lauchers, or store them behind his shoulder in their alt mode slots:
He's fairly poseable, but don't expect to pull off too many of Spidey's signature poses:
Overall, he's a decent fig. Alt mode is okay, and Mech mode is defintely recognizable as Spider-man. I would have preferred a little more range of motion in some of the joints, but considering there's a transformation as well, it's hard to compare this with a standard Spidey fig. I'd grab Hulk and/or Venom first, but Spidey's not a bad one to have around.
