None of these jaw tricks you people are doing work on mine. I'll probably keep him sealed and swap him next time I see one who's jaw works properly.

I FINALLY fixed it thanks to my dad. I had to make some adjustments and cut out some inner plastic, and I just left the 2 screws in the gut area out since the pin keeps it in place anyways. Now I have to wiggle the Headmaster around to get it to work, but at least it works now. He's probably by favorite figure out of Animated now that he works, he's just so fun and the clips make him even better

For any interested, here's his inner chest with all the wires. I had to be very careful in putting the wires where they were supposed to go as to not squeeze them. The wire that initially snapped off was one of the yellow ones connected to the little black box

BTW Megatron can lip-sync because you have to press his logo down all the way to start the voice clip, but for Bulkhead a slight push does the job since the head cover in vehicle mode keeps it from going down all the way so it has to be triggered easier

Since I had thre $5 off McDonald's coupon I decided I'd get Leader Bulkhead. Not too bed, but I prefer the Voyager one. Like the Voyager version the transformation is awesome major, MAJOR kudos to the engineering team behind both Bulkheads. The Headmaster gimmick is a neat touch, though I loathe the ******ed 'pwnageeee!!!!!!!!' crap it spews. All the other SFX I don't mind. I like how it switches the FX in each mode. Very nifty. The only other glaring negative I have to say is the lack of head articulation. It's still a fun toy with fantastic engineering.

The stupid spring loaded tab under the chest that the torso locks into is hard as hell to pull out when you want to go back to vehicle mode. Otherwise he's an awesome figure. I exchanged my faulty-mouth BH for a perfectly working mouth yayyyyyyyyyyy.

My friend got me Leader Bulkhead. It's a very nice toy, even though his arm features aren't as cool as Voyager Bulkhead's. my only gripe is the little guns that cover his head, one of them is looser than the other...

Already have Voyager Bulky, and he scales great with Activators Bumblebee, but this one looks so fun. I like all the extra stuff that he does'nt have in the show and a ball & chain would'nt be hard to make or find one for him.

Cant decide on Leader Bulkhead or Voyager Prime

Finally picked up this guy. I was waiting for a sale but ended up using a WalMart gift card I got for Xmas for lack of anything else I would want or need from that hole, I mean store.

GREAT toy. I think I still might like the Voyager version better, but I need more time with this one. I love his size and proportions and the sculpted rivets all over. The transformation is supremely fun and satisfying, with everything locking into place very well in both modes.

    Gripes:
HATE, HATE, HATE the talking gimmick. Aside from the noise, which I never appreciate, it sacrifices way too much in terms of sculpt. If it weren't for the talking and lights feature, they could have easily made it so his head either pushed down into his chest or flipped over on a panel for alt mode. But instead of that and a streamlined/accurate alt mode, we get a head that isn't articulated, only turns one direction, makes noise, and requires a rather fugly turret to cover it in alt mode. In bot mode the turret is even worse. as it has to split in half, fold out to the sides and kinda sorta 'tuck' into his 'wings'. It's just a big mess all around and all just so he can jiggle his jowls and say, "Der, my bad!!". Absolutely ******ed. I hope the kids at least appreciate it. :p

A lesser gripe is the sawblade hand. I hate it, but at least I was able to open up the arms and remove it. Doesn't look as good or as cool as the articulated hand, but I can fix that someday too if I ever feel like spending the money for a second Bulky.

Last gripe is the missiles on the sides. There is absolutely no reason these had to be attached the way they were. When you open him up, remove the screws, take off the missile racks and screw the arm panel back on, you find that you can very easily peg the missile racks back into the arms. They fit so firmly and work so well that way that I'm hard pressed to find a reason they complicated matters by screwing them on. Kids love to take missile mounts off and put them back on. Or was I the only one?

So, since I can fix the hand and the missile mounts, I can't really count those as negatives. The head is something I'm not talented enough to fix, but at least it doesn't look too incredibly aweful. So all in all I really like the guy. Even the things I don't like, I can see where they are meant to add some extra fun to the toy, and that's what it's all about, right? :)

Gotcha, I thought maybe they were to illustrate a problem or something since you mentioned you returned it. :)

Found one, on clearance 60% off. Cheaper than a Voyager. Lots of Ultra Magnus' around, but found a Bulkhead hidden at the back. Now all I need to do is find a Megatron!

^^^Hell, even at full price, I think Bulkhead, Magnus, and Megatron are worth every penny!
