Mine is the same way. I actually need to use a jewelers screwdriver to open the halves initially and can work them open further by hand from there.

 

Looks like I my be able to get these after all.

 

This happened to me too, and I have ALARMING NEWS for you. It is possible that the peg that the screw goes through to attach his rear dino legs/robot arms is cracking as a result. I finally removed the springs on both sides, and am EXTREMELY careful with Snarl now. Damn springs.

Glad the quality has got a bit better since him, I may pick the others up sometime, after being put off by Snarl's flimsiness.

 

Mine finally arrived today (first order went missing in the post - arg!)

I'm really happy with Sludge, he always did have the best robot mode in terms of proportion and posability. He looks awesome. His sword wouldn't fit his right hand, but it's perfect in the left.

Swoop is really nice too, though I'm waiting for the red-chested version to show up - I'm going to give one of the blue chested Swoop's to my girlfriend as a little present (she has Grimlock because she really took to him when she first saw him, and every girl deserves a little Grimmy to call her own!)

I didn't have much trouble with Swoop's launchers, though I would have killed for a version where Swoop's robot mode had a NECK! I always thought the original design made him look a bit stunted, and a neck would have helped no end. After the stirling work with Grimlock and sliding his head forward, I hoped for a similar fix, but to no avail. Maybe I can kitbash it...

Ooh, Sludge's head rotates as well! That's making for some sweet over the shoulder poses...

 

These are awesome, as are your pics, Cat! I wanted to apply Sludge's stickers, but the Autobot Symbols are so badly cut, that I don't think it's worth it.

 

I'm sure Reprolabels will have a set for these, just as they already do for the others, then that won't be an issue.

 

My WST Swoop is coming soon. I hope I don't have to pry him open with too much force...

 

I just got these today and here are a couple of thoughts:

Sludge: He's great. Looks nice, transforms easy. One leg is loose but that's okay. All paint and chrome good, no assembly errors. I like him a lot.

Swoop: Much worse, I'm afraid. Great fig in itself, but when the pin was put in his right knee, it went in at an angle and painfully busted through the other side just below the joint. Now his knee is busted but he can still stand and hopefully transform for now. It'sholding but a peice of the leg broke off. One missile launcher will NOT accept any missiles. I even cut the ends off so they wouldn't get stuck inside. I will have to sand down the actual bars that slip into the launcher. (which won't affect the appearence at all, but still, it sucks  )

All in all two great figs but one is a little fudged. All the missile launchers look great with the other three. 

Needless to say, this is my last time purchasing Justitoys products.
