I have to agree about the painted bits. The colors are identical to the molded parts, so you don't get any weird two-tone effect (a la classics Sunstreaker), but the spray they used leaks over to the yellow underside of the parts and cheapens the look in 'bot mode. One thing I will say about the color scheme is that it does a much better job of hiding the alt-mode's hood seams. That and no color scheme can change the fact that this mold = ultimate win.
Well, in looking for Animated figures in my search out of town today (hey, I'll drive 45 mins to a different walmart for $8 jeans and to visit with family and friends), I came across something other than a wall of Payloads... so I grabbed this guy. I really like the yellow-on-black colorscheme, and I'm rather pleased that his joints are tighter than my other CC Bumblebee's. The first post says his are looser... I guess that's just what happens with reapints... sometimes you just get a better one than the first time around, sometimes you don't. I like the battle mask, too... I always thought the original Bumblebee's headsculpt was pretty ugly... this one is not. If you dig the colors, and you want to see if you can get tighter joints on your Bumblebee, go for it. If you're happy with the one you have, I wouldn't really bother. He's cool, I'm happy I grabbed him, your mileage may vary.
The colourscheme is really cool. Aswell as the new head mold. However, i probably wont be picking up any more movie figs. To many already.
I bought mine to do a headswap with my original release Camaro BB, very pleased with the results. I also did it because I think the alt mode for Stealth BB is pretty decent itself so I don't mind just keeping him in alt mode.
