News Credits: 92 | Yeah, I don't think either of the Blackouts we got were all that movie accurate. I think that's why I love Evac so much. Without an actual move model to try and emulate, I can enjoy him for all the fun he is, without looking at him and going "Man, you looked WAY cooler in the movie." Quote:

News Credits: 4 | Even though he isn't movie accuratetastic, I still plan on getting him, he still looks pretty danged nice for only $20 more. If anything, he looks more like the Robot Heroes Blackout with that color scheme IMO.

Any chance of getting pics of a side by side comparison between Premium and Normal Blackout in copter mode? |

i recommend him over movie blackout anyday. |

The copter mode is quite sinister and striking, as I expected, but the robot mode is quite nice also. I expected I would like the black details of the original Blackout far more, but it's actually quite close to equal in my opinion. For the record, the lighter parts are NOT pink/tan/beige (to my eye at least), but a rather neutral gray (maybe a very slight reddish tint, but it's the bluish tint of the dark gray that makes the lighter bits look more beige-y, especially in photos.
Originally I planned to swap parts between Blackouts, but now I'm not so sure. I may experiment a bit to see what comes out best.
One thing I will say - in the grand scheme of TF movie toys, Blackout has a pretty crappy head, in any paint scheme. Just looks too much like a chewed up raisin. Evac wins fully in that area. How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end
