No ko is gonna touch Gmax in price.
The only reason it has doubled in price is due to douchebag sellers trying to claim its rare and its a hasbro item and blah blah.
You mention the mold is over 20 years old which is untrue aswell. |

First off, the line I've bolded is total garbage. These are brand new KOs and have just started being released recently.
Yeah it's the KO, and the company/sellers have been pitching that 'very rare, only 500 produced in the world ever, very few left' garbage to sell them. It's like GP's statement there is ripped right out of one of the auctions. Talking about misinformation. (No offense to you GP, but it looks like you bit on their poison-baited hook of lies and deception, and consequently the item info in your review description isn't really true).
Essentially, all that crap said about them in the auctions is totally false, and even if the 500 produced claim is the case, what's stopping them from producing more whenever they feel like it? It's not like they're a legit company who has to hold true to their word. What's saying they even produced the # they say? Also, how many of the other KOs were even produced anyways? It couldn't have been too much more than 1000-2000 of each I'd think. In any event, if you have $100 and want one of these, you have one. And if more people with $100 want them, the KO company will make more. Rarity, grail, limited, doubled in price, and 'the new Grand Maximus' are all words that should NOT be associated with this release in any way.
Regardless of that it's a cool looking KO (aside from the bronze-stained looking areas), facts need to be facts.
Here's a thread I posted the other day about sellers posting these brand new KOs as limited quantity 'last remaining' rarities: KO Clear Optimus Prime stupidity!

lets get afew facts sorted out
1.i never say this is an OFFICAL product and most people KNOW this ISNT an offical product either
2.there ARE KO's out there even rarer than Grand Maximus - KO Scorponok for example is worth a fortune (hes in funky colors) also boxed dicalone dinosaur dinobots are worth alot if all sold in a group, Ko Omega Supreme is worth alot in america as well.
3.im not 100% sure if the item IS limited to 500 pieces but 1 mine came with the issue number 346 and i know 5 other people whos product numbers are also different but none have gone over 500 as far as i know and none have the same product numbers as each other.
4. theres NO reviews of this item online anywere else that i can find, i figured some people might actually LIKE a review of the item because some people love collecting CLEAR transformers.
5. the figure itself IS new as its a NEW release but the mould for the toy thats been used is the SAME mould from the 20 YEAR OLD TOY. thas what i was stating, NOT THAT THE ITEM IS NEW AND ITS A NEW MOULD NEVER SEEN OR MADE BEFORE.
i just made the review for people who might like to find out more about the item itself. im shocked at just how many people are being arseholes over the issue almost as if im trying to whore the item off for ebay sellers.
sorry if its some how ruined some ones day because i put a bloody toy review up online for people who might wana buy the item but dont know much about it...sheez |
