I got this bad boy Monday at Wally World (joy!) and here's my 2 cents (and i want change back, darn it) I love: Alt mode- everything. the colors aren't cheesy, the plane looks cool, i had some fun putting his wings in different positions that could theoretically allow him to fly, and overall, he looks cool as hell. Robot mode- he looks good, no real kibble to fuss about and he is a brick- slap him down on the table and he stays where daddy told him to. Love that. Hate: Alt mode- after transforming him just once to bot and tried to get him back to Alt, pieces didn't fit right at all. 1) Rear nacells where the knees reconnect. 2) along the sides just beneath the cockpit 3) Along the bottom just forward of the light gray area and before it meets the landing gear Robot mode- the legs. The legs. LEGS. Wish Hasbro would study Tina Turner's legs and learn how legs are done right. First transformation, I snapped off the whole leg assembly, then it took me half an hour to pop it back in place. the next time, same result, different leg. Frustrating. The "meh" factpr: had some trouble with the chest piece clicking into place, had to use more force than i expected. The box. 2 reasons for little love for the box. One, how in the hell can you keep it a MIB/MISB with all that window plastic and no support against it? oughta see my blackout box and cry. and second, i used to hate Spawn figures for all the twisties and effort just to get an already fragile ass figure out, but all the tape and tabs you gotta bypass to open this box is ridiculous. and then, it makes the box fragile and flimsy- once again, my tabs won't stay in place on the Blackout packaging so i know my Incinerator box won't be much better. all in all, both modes look good, just needed some better design elements as far as transforming goes. oh, hands coulda been a prize winning feature, too. pax
hey, for those who are having trouble getting the legs off the alt mode while transforming, grab the wings and push them down, like you are starting with them first-makes the legs a breeze to start off. there-one less CON for him
Fan modes of Incinerator: The head is pretty loose but it works. I call it jet mode. I could place the propellers, but they do not spun because of the tail.
I didn't think Incinerator would be released in Australia. As it turns out, he was. For $20 too, which is an actually reasonable price here. Incinerator has knocked Wreckage off my Favourite Movie Transformer spot. That is all I really have to say. Also, is it just me, or does Incinerator look very much like Tarantulas? *starts making crazy theories about Tarantulas getting into the movieverse*
Incinerator better than Wreckage? Impossible. I have both, and Wreckage is better. Then again, Wreckage IS my favorite Decepticon...
Nice mod (is it radicons?), almost enough convince me to finally grab this guy. <- early to EVERY party
yeah, old thread, though. I did the arm mod, and painted the head to match the box art. I still intend to make an actual tutorial, cause the arm mod is actually not complicated or hard.
