Just received this in the mail yesterday. $73.00 on eBay, shipped. Average price seems to be around $80-90 dollars. Haven't had time yet to take pics, but I do have a few opening thoughts about this piece. For the record it has a Takara date stamp of 1980/1982.

    Cons first:
Accessories are loose in the packaging...most of them are in one of the two or three pockets in the styrofoam insert, but I noticed that the hose attachment and rifle shook loose as I could see each through the window of the figure.
I've read about issues with red paint on some of the dinobot figures...this one had a few paint chips on one of the feet, maybe both. Very minor chipping, but still visible, though I don't know if my camera would be able to tell the story.
Prime's head doesn't quite rest correctly on the metal hood piece in robot mode.
The missilie launchers in the trailer section don't hold missiles properly.
Some of the plastic accessories show a little flashing.
For whatever reason, Prime doesn't seem to roll smoothly in truck mode.

    Pros:
The figure comes without any stickers preapplied whatsoever (except for a rub decal underneath the Prime head), or at least mine did (all stickers are loose behind the styrofoam insert). Some I saw on eBay have at least the silver cab stripe, the long Autobot symbol and stripe on the trailer, and at least one faction symbol on the shoulders. I think the black iteration looks better without stickers for now, although a reprolabels evil Prime set would look very nice, if Optimus Scourge's figure is any indication. The trailer is nice and shiny, and the cab portion, aside from the small paint chips on the feet, look great in black.
The packaging, while a reproduction, is pretty. I plan to move one of my Hasbro reissues into the old school styrofoam. The box I have was bent a little in transit, but it's still displayable.

I'd recommend this oddball repaint for Prime lovers, even if it's a bootleg, simply because this color scheme, while simple, is so unPrimelike.

Are the tires plastic or rubber?
