Good. After RID, I think it's definitely for the best. Long-term durability should not be sacrificed for short-term extra detail and accuracy.

I picked this guy up a few weeks ago. Love the figure! Easily my favorite of the movie line so far. I like the simplistic, very G1-esque transformation sequence of: flip down legs, pull arms to the side, flip-up the head. Hasbro should make more figures like this.

I agree with everyone else who feels that simplicity works in this guy's favor. I just got him today from hts. he's really cool, and it's nice to go back to the days of 5-step transfomations, which landmine and incinerator also have, and still be a nifty, cool looking, articulated figure.

    review - TFTM Stockade

Stockade is apparently based on the SUVs driven by Sector 7 in the movie. I've read that the vehicle is based on a Cadillac Escalade, but I'm not familiar enough with differences between SUV types to tell. It's a decent looking vehicle, and the fact that it's all black helps keep the panel lines and seams from showing too badly. The windows are an aqua blue, and there are various silver highlights on the grille, door handles and tire rims. There is a tiny purple decepticon symbol on the grille. I looked at it closely to make sure it wasn't just a purple blob, and it does appear to be a full symbol, only 3mm tall. The sector 7 logo is on the front center of the two front doors... I think it's a bit odd for a covert agency to advertise.

Transformation is pretty simple, which is no bad thing. It's pretty much a case of pulling the engine section of the car free of the rest to form the legs and feet, while the remainder of the car unfolds outward to form the arms and head. There's a little more to it here and there. The only thing resembling an automorph is the head, which pops up when the license plate section of the rear is folded back.

Robot mode is somewhat ape-like in proportion, with smaller legs and feet compared with the massive arms. This guy's a bruiser or an enforcer, and his bio supports that idea. He has some balance problems due to somewhat loose ankles, but the car hood sections can be folded down some to compensate.

The gimmick is an extending punch attack, executed by pushing a lever on the back of the elbow. It's not terribly impressive, but it's reasonable. The hands are slightly articulated as well. All four fingers open up along a single pin. It's a small detail, but a nice touch.

The allspark blue complements the deco quite well. Stockade is otherwise mostly black and charcoal grey, with silver lower legs and feet. There are two splashes of red on the neck on either side of the head, which form the taillights in SUV mode. A silver Decepticon symbol is on the right front thigh.

The face, like the body, is stoic and thuggish, at least to my way of thinking. The optics are the same clear teal as the windows and headlights, but there's no real light piping. If you hold him up to a light that's beside the face rather than behind it, it become apparent. But they'll never light up brightly.

Overall: appealing for it's brutish robot mode, relatively simple transformation, and decently realistic SUV vehicle mode. Colors are good, and both the face and body proportions endow the figure with personality. A solid figure, well worth having in the collection. And the gimmick is unimpressive, but since it isn't spring-loaded, it doesn't activate at the worst moments like Barricade's does. Recommended.

Finally found him yesterday after looking everywhere for him, and he doesnt disappoint! Nice and easy transformation (Im not a fan of the complicated "too much pressure and bits fall off" movie ones) and I absolutely love his headsculpt. My only gripe is I think he'd look even better if he were a little bigger, but I can live with it!

Anyone else have a problem with a loose arm on this guy? My Stockade's right arm is so gimpy he can barely keep it raised.

Nope, mine is pretty tight overall. Favorite TFTM toy outside of nightwatch prime.

Picked him up last night after seeing Iron Man. Got him cheaper too..either Target had a sale or they rang him up as a Scout class *shrug*.

My first of the allspark line, not the figure I wanted most (Incinerator or Landmine would have been better but they had neither of them), but certainly one I planned on getting at some point. I really dig him. Solid enough alt mode, really like the decepticon insignia on the grill. Transformation is quick and easy but very effective and fairly unique. Bot mode is where the figure shines though. Love the brutish, hulking look he has going for him. Color scheme (allspark blue included) actually works well with the overall look, and though a dark looking figure, the detail isn't lost as it is on Ironhide. Great articulation, makes for nice posability. Kibble isn't too bad, mostly on the arms..but beyond a couple panels it is pretty good.

All in all a worthwhile figure, certainly was worth it.

So I just got this guy finally, and he's pretty cool. I like him better than Landmine, in fact... but that may be the fault of my particular Landmine... he has a few more loose joints than I like to have...

Now, I like my transformations to be involved, but relatively easy for the size class (for example, I think Ratchet and Ironhide are about the ends of the "easy" to "involved" spectrum of difficulty, in that order)... Stockade is very easy, which normally would have disappointed me, but I'm finding that it's really not too bad. There aren't any unecessary steps, he's pretty straightforward, but aside from his calves, unless you look closely, his vehicle mode is pretty damn well hidden.

I love his SUV mode. I'm finding I really like these really reaslistic vehicle modes... if it's something I might see on the street. Granted, I don't think I really want a glut of them, but I'm liking the realisticness of the movie alt modes. Stockade's a winner in this department.

Little disappointed with one thing about bot mode... articulation. No swivels in his arms or legs... though on his arms, that can be worked around by the way they transform. Legs? All you have for lateral rotation is the ball joints on his legs. However, he DOES look like a thug, the pictures do him justice. I like him a lot.

So despite the really simple transformation (I have no trouble getting his pieces aligned), I really like this guy. With the transformation, he could be a basic, but yeah, deluxe fits the character, and the toy would lose a lot of character if it were any smaller.

Thumbs up. I give him a B+. Not perfect, but surprisingly good.

I'm not a big fan of the movie line - I'd only pick out ones I can find use for in other settings - and in that vein, I picked up Stockade today, to count as a re-formatted Ruckus.

And I have to say, he's not too bad at all!

It would be nice if there was somewhere a little neater for the windows at the wrists to fold away to, the light piping seems to be a bit awkward behind the eyes, and I have no interest in the fist gimmick, and his articulation is somewhat hampered by the pieces on his hind legs and with this a teeny bit too stiff hip joints...

...but by and large he's a nice figure - and I like the alt mode, too.

(Plus, he looks good alongside Universe 2.0 Onslaught!)

So, all told, not a bad figure to plump for.

EDIT: If you go by the MTMTE profile for Ruckus, it states how he had his chassis upgraded "as a reward for valiant service while heavily damaged". So, in my mind, I'll picture the Triggercon figure (or, perhaps, a re-decoed Legends Beachcomber?) as the original form, and this figure as the new and improved model!

EDIT 2: And the good cyborgs of Gobotron aren't left out, either - as Drive-Or stomps into action!
