that's probably because TFs never had any eye detail in their toys before.

Very true of any TF line in the past, but it's actually quite out-of-place in this line. With the exception of a select few, every TF in this line that appeared in the film has fully-detailed eyes, except Prime. He just has these bulgy, angular shapes filling in the whole cavity. It's distressing enough that his LED's make his head look like he's microwaving something inside of it; if you've going to go so far as to sculpt tiny hydraulics in his armpits, you should at least take the extra step to stamp an iris or two into him.. :p

Ah well.. Maybe the premium format's new head will address my neurotic quibbles..

Awesome set. I ordered it just for the flames and the rear lights. I already painted most of the other details myself.

Very nice. Would be cool to have two stickers to cover up the gray hinges on top of the hood.

Makes me wonder why they did that... couldn't they cast it in red plastic or pull off something like the kneepads where there were 2 pieces of different colored plastic

Ordered mine as soon as I saw the notice. I think this set will be well worth the money. It is funny how the little details can add so much to a figure.

I can't wait to get them and make Prime complete.

got mine in the mail today... complete waste of money!!!!!! the decals are printed on clear labels and parts of the flames stuck to the sheet so they have specks of color missing and the leg decals fit very poorly. I'm done with these guys.

no, I'm not even worried about the money. They've replaced defective sets for me before, its just frustrating because I had very high expectations for these. I have no doubt that they would replace them or something, and that's cool that they're willing to do that, but almost every set I've gotten from them has had some kind of problem, that coupled with the long wait to get these in the mail makes it not worth my time.

Odd; I've been using them for about 3 years now, and I've never had a problem with them. Also, I found that the fit on the set I reviewed was spot on for every sticker. Were yours cut correctly?

the flame sticker for his right leg has a lot of "extra" clear decal hanging over the edge and near the the top, but thats with the red part perfectly lined up around the screw hole. and the red and blue flame decals for his arm were the ones that didn't fully peel from the sheet, so when placed on the dark blue of his arm there are several dark blue spots showing through the red flames.

I've never had a problem before either. I think you have bad luck. still, if you know they'll replace your set for free (and they will) why wouldnt' you do it? not doing so IS wasting money, but then its YOUR fault.

I might e-mail them, But I have to agree about the bad luck thing. I don't want them to think I'm making crap up to get extra sticker sets or something.

I got mine last week and they are perfect. I absolutely love them and think they really complete Prime. I think I got a great deal on them actually. No issues of "peel" or "see-through" that wasn't intended.

I highly highly recommend this set.
