Back when TF:A started, my 5 year old son asked out of the blue "Dad, is there a Bulkhead toy?" I told him there would be someday.

Well, he just finished pre-school this week so I went out and grabbed voyager Bulkhead to give him as a "reward". The look on his face was *awesome*. He was so happy. Gave me a hug that almost knocked me over. Totally took me back to when I was a kid and got something I *really* wanted (like a TF!).

Anyway, I showed him how to transform him and how the wrecking ball works. Awesome toy. Very durable feeling. A little tough for him to transform right now, but he'll get the hang of it.

Of course, he started rambling off the few other animated figs he wanted. "We'll see what we can do", I say as I think about the other figs I got at the same time and the ones I ordered from HTS for future gifts. :)

I am sorely tempted to go get this guy. Maybe I'll just have to go over to my brother's place sometime soon and play with the one I got my nephew.

so I saw this guy at walmart today while I was shopping and was really debating on getting him. The scale sorta bothers me but I want to get either him or prowl. So if you guys had to recommend one who would you recommend?

    Ok, so I bit >_>

Picked him up along with Prowl today (would have grabbed Cyb. Prime as well if I had had a couple dollars more, but having the earth deluxe, I'm ok with not getting him).

Seriously, I have no idea why I like him so much, I mean..he is amazing. I'd honestly put him above every single figure I own right now.

I bit as well yesterday in a matter of 5 minutes at walmart lol. I gotta say though, hes mega tiny, but hes just so much fun to transform and can really stand on his own as a great toy. I promised myself I'd only get 2 TFA figs, but thats turned into 5 so far and still going probably. But overall I recommend him to anyone whos on the fence...hes been the only voyager able to be bought around here, but hes so much fun to play with that I think that will change soon

I keep the poor guy around for the sheer adorableness of him being so tiny. X3

Anyone else having an issue with keeping this guy's right shoulder pegged into his chest, though?

Part of me wishes the show had kept him the same scale as the toy. That would've been awesome seeing him as a sort of tiny bruiser.

Only when transforming, and that's only because I sometimes forget to move the button on his arm out of the way. So really, no.

I'm in the same boat... actually, I think I outright prefer the stout look of the figure; it's more in line with the way the average Decepticon towers over the rest of the main-cast Autobots. I'm pretty fond of the little guy.

Managed to fix the shoulders. ^^

Shaving off the back of the peg lets them fit right in without popping out. . . Until I rotated his shoulder and ended up forcing the peg out of its hole. Turns out my Bulky's ratcheting disk was warped. A bit of trimming and he's good to go. Ratchets don't work so well anymore, but the joint's tight enough as-is anyway. ^^

Mine seems to have the same problem. That peg goes in, but it just won't stay in.

Well after checking out my nephew's Bulkhead, I finally caved and bought him and bumblebee. Well now at least I've got the full show cast (well the main cast).

He is a great figure, cant wait to pick up Lugnut and have them square off (at those two should be close to scale) :)

So my girlfriend buys my Voyager Bulkhead as an early birthday present... he's freakin' awesome... and just absolutely ADORABLE at the same time. the toy really does an EXCELLENT job at invoking the cartoon character. Big, goofy, loveable and awkward.

Nice transformation. Very satisfying... I like it. Easy, but satisfying, there's enough to it that, despite the shortness, it feels like there was a lot going on. He might be short, but don't let that fool you, this guy is DEFINITELY a Voyager size.

I like Bulkhead quite a bit. Don't see a good looking chubby TF very often, and love his modes, as well as the simple enough transformation. While almost everything was great, I did encounter 3 Bulkheads with faulty hip ratchet joints. Either the left clicks nice and tight, or the left, but never both (some doesn't even click at all). Sometimes the knee ratchets are faulty too. Pretty random. Unfortunately, the hip ratchet isn't something you can disassemble or fix (but the knees you can). So end up piecing together the best parts out of the Bulkheads and kept one, while the others got returned back to stores as faulty ones. Hope the other TFA figures I encounter won't have the same random faulty ratchet joints.

As a toy (not counting the defects I got), its really great. While the size/scale is not ideal, I actually like it better than the Leader Class Bulkhead. It just look cuter with the smoother profile, and always prefer the wrecking ball over the saw hand. The Leader Class one seems overdetailed, when standing side by side with most TFA deluxes & voyagers.
