    Thanks for the review.

I'm impressed with his agility. The more I see of Bulkhead, the more I like.

Thanks :D . Yeah, he might be short for a Voyager, but, his sweet design, his bulk, and his surprising posability all more than make up for that.

I wouldn't say "towers". In most shots where perspective isn't a factor, Bulk seems just a hair taller than Optimus, though far thicker.

I'd agree the toy probably comes up short compared to others from a cartoon scale, but that's nothing new to Transformers. Looks like Hasbro is trying to keep scale in mind a little more this time around though.

    Nice review, man!

I'm actually surprised by him. Better than I thought.

    Freaking wrecking ball, FTW!

They say a picture says a thousand words...That one shot is amazing. Can he hold that pose well? And by that, I mean could you have him in a bookcase, can you walk by and he won't fall? Seems like the claw hands added to his weight he has would give him an advantage as far as holding it, I'd guess. And enen if he did fall, even to the floor, he looks like he'd stand up, and say: "That all ya got?" :lol

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the first pics in this thread. That'd be an easy bash...well, with the red proto, anyway...:)

He stayed like that for 2 hours on my desk at work, so it is a stable pose.

    Great review.

Cool to see him in all those poses ... helps those who missed the news about his posseability, which is very good for a figure his shape.

I like his scale next to Barricade. I suspect there will be some match ups with that soon.

wow, It works well because all the Autobot deluxes are around 15cm, so that means they are all pretty much the same size

My first Animated toy, may there come many more!!!!
And for comparison, as robot he's about as tall as a G1 Prime.

He does look pretty good in the right colors. Though if you see the area on his arms that are in black, he has a lot of circuity molding that would really deserve a wash to pull it out.

Had a chance to fiddle with aksmth's red test shot today. (Thanks, d00d!)

It's a great toy! Extremely well articulated for such a chunky character, with nice stiff joints with lots of ratchets, good for maintaining great poses. And it's very sturdily made, fitting together quite nicely in both modes. Very nice transformation, with two neat Automorph bits (yay!). And a fun, personality-filled head sculpt.

It only served to increase my frustration at the wait until FRIGGIN' JUNE!

When I first heard that Hasbro was going to use matte paint for the production figures, I was dissapointed since I prefer gloss. After seeing Bulkhead in color now though, I change my mind. It looks more show accurate with a matte paint finish and I am very impressed.

I think, of all the Animated figures, he evokes the most sense of childlike fun. He's like a transformable Weeble! :D  :D  :D
