I broke his right hand doing the SAME thing initially, but now I KNOW. It is an odd "oversight" that they didn't fix that issue. What I did, though, is give that EMP/hood intake weapon to my Ratchet (and I plan on modifying it a bit for him) and I bought another Lockdown.

Lockdown is just one of those out-of-the-blue toys that catch you off guard and you either love or hate. I love his vicious "Batman"-esque vehicle mode as, to a degree, it looks like something The Joker would drive to keep up with Batman.

I did the same thing with his right hand. It's still attached and works fine. Been working on shaving down the tab for the left hand, but until the meantime I've been using the hook on his left.

Outside of the hand issue, I'm really enjoying Lockdown. I still can't believe just how big the robot mode is, he's a beast. And the car mode is very bad ass. It's a great figure for an awesome character from the show. Plus it's Lance-freaking-Henrikson.

Just got Lockdown today, along with a Prowl. He's pretty awesome. He's been hyped up a little, imo, but he's still awesome enough to own. I know what part needs cut out of his hands, but does anybody know if it's possible to pop is hands out of his arm to do so? I'd feel more comfortable doing the mod if I could do that first. That way I could also put some nail polish on the one to tighten up it's grip when I put it back into his arm. Thanks for any help with that.

Once his redeco comes out, I'll do a little mix and matching to mak e the original more show-accurate

I don't think that pin in his hand will come out unless you want to drill a hole on the other side of the pin to push it back out. I didn't have anything to cut his hand with, so I went extreme and used my soldering iron lol. The result was just as neat as if it was cut, plus the occasional heart attack lol

I got Lockdown along with Prowl and I really love the guy. The only complaints i have is that his legs can come off his joints and the hands.... They don't go back all the way and i think they could have been designed better. Other than that, the figure is made of win. Definately worth my money. Now, to make a custom poncho for him and find a chainsaw upgrade... :D

Plan to make him a poncho as well.

As for the chainsaw, just wait a bit on that, the repaint comes with one.

If you're up for it, you might want to try out the wrist mod for Lockdown. Does wonders for the already awesome figure.

Lockdown is a great figure, especially after some modifications. I like a lot of other people shaved his hands to make him look a lot better. But has anyone thought of doing the same for his shoulder pads? I'm currently working on doing this to Lockdown. I finished the left side and think it looks a lot better IMO.

I finished with Lockdown. I didn't shave anymore off but I think it looks a lot closer to the cartoon version now. When I look at him it is still hard to see what he transforms into. Lockdown has one of the greatest transformations because it is hard to see that his alter-mode is a car. He is worth every penny.

    Sniff, sniff...

I had my first Lockdown, and I thought he was awesome until I tried to force his hand straight and broke his hand. So, I got a replacement. I had someone at work look at him, and he got broke in the same way.

This, compounded with the theft of a couple of Transformers, means I likely will NEVER bring in another Transformer to work. They helped with my stress relief, as I felt it was always better to be doing something constructive when stressed out then to just bottle it in inside. So, I guess I'd better go back to target practice. And, no, it is not at work. :D

i think he has the arthritis hands cause of the way his hook/blaster is-the hands fit in snug with it, which is why he has the hand he has.

also, has anyone else noticed that he has a faint smug grin on his face?? thats really kool detailing, IMHO

    Finally picked him up.
Wow. Awesome is how I describe this guy. Quite possibly one of my favorite deluxes ever.
