Vehicle mode is ok. It loses points for the robot feet sticking out from the back. Also his gun arm doesn't quite fit in all the way under the car and as a result it has very little clearance to the ground and may scrape the ground as he rolls. I did find that if you have the barrel rotated the right way, it will fit under a little better. Also it's a pain to line up the back of the car due to the many pegs you have to line up tightly.

Robot mode is ok but the lack of heels really hurts the balance of the figure. Also the arms are attached to the doors as you can see in the pic...unfortunately the doors aren't very tight at the hinges, so the arms have a habit of swinging backwards very easily. Putting pegs on the doors to attach better in robot mode would have helped this figure tremendously. Aside from these, complaints, Bumblebee is a nifty figure that should definitely appeal to the younger kiddies out there.

Bah, I still want it. Is it out at retail or did you get it on Ebay?

Found him at a California Walmart today. Barricade was also there, but I passed.

Glad to see that the front of him acually splits in half.

Going to add him to my small collection of FAB's

I just got it too, I say it is a very nifty toy. Good articulation throughout. The only downer is that the head can't rotate. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

Nice! I want him too! It seems FAB's are getting harder to come by(where i'm at). Maby kids are really liking the fact that they are easy to transform, yet they look really good! Anyway thanks for the review & pics.

I just got this guy today. I was set on getting Classic Camaro deluxe Bumblebee but since I went through hell searching for that one, I decided to get the FAB which I found by chance.
For a FAB, this toy is very impressive. The detailing is nice, the articulation is better than many transformers that aren't meant for such young kids and the transformation is quite enjoyable. The car mode looks superb aside from the ugly robot feet hanging off the rear bumper in a glaring obstruction to the look.
Still, I'd actually give it an 8/10 overall.
