I've had him up in the living room lately too and was just admiring again what a feat of engineering he is for his size/class. Almost flawless.

Finally found one in a local store!

    F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!

It was Bs.F 100 ($20 black market exchange rate or $50 official exchange rate), but I was just tired of waiting. But I think I'll open it on Christmas day.

    IT DOES EXIST.

Great figure, mine had a few loose joints but i superglued them so they should be good now.

I managed to score myself a 08 Bumblebee today from a friend of mine. His vehicle mode is flawless and is a very accurate representation of the Concept Camaro.

Bumblebee has a very detailed transformation for a Deluxe figure and I have no problems trying to align his parts for vehicle mode.

Bumblebee was over hyped. Yes his robot mode looks great, but is it really as fantastic as some people were boasting? His robot mode is fantastically detailed but these details are not easy to see because of the lack of paint applications to bring that detail out. He can be hard to get a cool pose from and when you do find a good one his legs will give way four out of five times. His weapon is fantastic and I love how it becomes a blade – although not at all movie accurate.

    Vehicle mode: 10/10
    Transformation: 10/10
    Robot mode: 8/10
    Overall: 9/10

He's very nice, but I was a bit disappointed.
    His joints were too...loose.

Found him at Target today (first time I have ever seen the figure in stores), so of course I picked him up.

Maybe I've been spoiled by the likes of Dropkick and Longarm, but he isn't nearly the figure he is made out to be. He's really, really overrated.

Not to say he is bad, not even close. He is an awesome figure, great articulation, looks real good in both modes, transformation is nifty. But really, all the hype people surround this figure with..and it just doesn't live up to it.

Again, good figure, but not even close to the be all end all figure for the franchise (Hell, not even for this line).

Found one today - it was the only one the store had, amidst about fifty Longarms, a dozen Swindles, a crapload of Final Battle Jazz, and plenty of Scout repaints and Real Gears. Oh, and 10 Leader Brawls and 10 Thundercrackers and Rescue Ratchets each. If only our customs procedures were a bit more... normal... Serbia would soon become a scalper paradise.

I paid 1000 dinars for it, which is $18. Not bad, considering that most stores here sell deluxes for at least 1400 dinars ($25).

I debated on whether I should get it now or wait for the premium version, but I finally decided to grab him and later grab the Stealth repaint/resculpt.

So holy crap, I FINALLY got this guy! Yay for post-Christmas, post-movie lulls in general interest!

Now, it seems like most people who have been forever and a day anticipating this guy, only to be disappointed, well... I'm not one of them.

    This little dude is sweet.

Okay, I found his legs a little fiddly to get back into sweet-awesome-car mode, but that's about it for gripes.

Anything to be said otherwise has already been said... my vote is, if you can get your hands on this guy, do so, he's worth it.

I only wish he had thigh swivels. He is one of the best deluxes in the line. I love his hidden blade. I wish the chest automorph did more.

Replaced mine today... I take back all the bad things I said. My first must have been a lemon or something.

Pretty awesome when everything works right, joints are tight, and there isn't a record of who assembled it in the window.

I have a question about the chest automorph, actually.

I have to stop about halfway through moving his chest to adjust his arms... is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?

I've always had to do a little fiddling to the arms, sometimes in the middle of the transformation, sometimes after. It just takes some fiddling on how to position the arms before you start the flipping.

yeah, the chest morph can get a bit confusing..u need to get the shoulders totally out of the way..i love the figure in both modes but its one of my least favorite figures to actually transform :(
