Picked one up today at TRU in Melbourne, FL.

Fairly large figure for the deluxe price point. He's as wide as a leader class, and as tall as a voyager. Paint applications are very nice. His transformation is pretty basic, which might be a disappointment to some. Basically you point in one direction and say "Hey, look!" Then when no one is looking you substitute his main body for a smaller truck figure. Very clever! I didn't realise it, but this figure is also a Triplechanger, disguised to look like a normal Mr. Pototo Head. Very good value.

    I give it a 9.5/10.

Eh, the Decepticons can have plenty of Tater-related characters even if their faction can't be:

    Megaspud
    Spudwave
    Spudscream
    Tatercracker
    Megabolt - CHIP!

Now that I like the sound of :)

One thing I do like about Optimash is that he comes with a "vehicle" mode toy. That's a nice touch.

Optimash Prime - Got him this past weekend. Love at first sight.

The good - EVERYTHING!!! The little shoes are phenomenal. If I saw them by themselves, I'd say "did someone make Optimus Prime potato head shoes? And he gets better from there. The arms, the faceplate, everything. THE WEE TRUCK!!!!! The wee truck is nearly as fun to drive around as the tater is to play with and pose. And the Cullen mustache is a nice touch.

The not-as-good - He lacks a gun. I'd love to see a tater version of the big black gun. I mean, Spudtrooper got a gun and Darth Tater got a saber. I just wanted a gun...

and that's it. I'd grade Optimash with an A. A+ would have been achieved with a gun.

Liked him, got him, now goes well with my Darth Tater, Spud Trooper and Artoo Potatoo

Cant wait for Megatot/Megaspud, if they do have one.

LOL at the transformation part of the first review.

My kids love it. Nuff said. I did think the literature on the back was pretty silly. "Autotots" but it is a toy for a small kid afterall.

I finally got around to picking up Optimash Prime. I kept hoping that they'd go on clearance since there were tons of them at first, but as the numbers kept dwindling but the prince remained the same, I figured I'd bite the bullet. This is the most unique version of Optimus Prime I've ever seen. :lol

I don't think I've ever had a Mr. Potato Head, even as a small child, so this is a first. The concept is the same as any other of course: removable limbs and other features so you can customize the look. My little girl's already had fun playing with Optimash. I do have to say though, as novel as it is to have some Optimus parts for a Mr. Potato Head, the combinations seem somewhat limited. The helmet is only good in one place, and without the feet the whole thing falls over, so the placement of those two items is a given. The other items mix and match fairly well, but there just aren't that many of them. Putting eyeballs where the arm should be is kinda fun though. :D

Overall: this toy is a novelty, good for a little amusement. I just think it's cool that Transformers are big enough that they're worthy of a Mr. Potato Head adaption. :D  I think this guy had better watch out for Megabolt though...

Yeah, it's really worth it mainly for the cheese value. I could say the same about Nerf-gun Optimus and Starscream.

I love the fact that they included a mustache that isn't the same as a "regular" Mr. Potato Head's... I'm pretty sure that it's a nod towards Mr. Cullen's prominent 'stache...

All-in-all, a great figure! It's actually the third figure I purchased when the movie line came out... He's featured up with the rest of my figures, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
