You do know the weapon comes off at the pivoting tab?
I always remove it when putting him in truck mode....

A trailer would look ******ed on the big screen. That, and the dissappearing act.
Besides, he always struck me as a tanker truck.

He's alot of fun to play with, but I wish the arms would connect to the sides of his chest / cab tighter...

I just recieved mine Saturday and I love it. My only gripes with the toy is that the ankles seem kind of loose to me. That and I should have read the feedback better on here because I think I broke the automorphing feet. They transform fine going into robot mode but I have to help one out going into truck mode. I can't let these minor gripes effect my opinion on the ty though. I love how electronics were included with out making him fat looking. The design screams Optimus to me in both modes. Also to note, from reading this thread I must have been lucky. I get no gap when transformed into truck mode. It looks perfect. The truck mode flows togeather so well. I also found that I have no problem with knee movement when the read tires are connected. I guess thats what that hinge point on the tires are for. Now I can't wait to get the Voyager Prime to have them side by side.

Picked him up today and he's easily one of my favorite movie figures. Both modes look pretty cool especially the truck mode. My only major gripe is that he could have used a wrist joint. He's got the articulated hands but no movement in wrist? That is a bit lame.

Does anyone else have an issue with keeping the arms clamped into place (or rather, the slat that the arms are attached to clamping onto the 'door'-area of the cab)? Mine don't stay in place worth a damn. Really the only downside to an otherwise close to perfect toy. Any suggested 'fixes' would be appreciated.

If there is a weakness to the movie line, it's that Hasbro seems to fail at keeping the shoulders secure on some of these toys. Deluxe Brawl is killed by this.

^^^Classics Grimlock kind of has the same problem. The pegs aren't really there to secure the shoulders, but more like a "suggestion" to the joints as to where to link up.

I don't really have a suggestion to fix it, though. But at least now you know you're not alone.

Got him over a month ago but haven't posted. I have the same problem with the arms/shoulder connection, it's a bit annoying but otherwise Leader Prime is an awesome toy. I like it a lot. :D

Alright the automorph left foot is not staying open on mine. Took it apart and tried to tighten a screw but it didn't help. I'm aware that there's a shallow tab in the grill that tabs into the foot to help keep it open. Sometimes, since the tab is shallow, it is easily dislodged, thus throwing off the automorph.

Any ideas? If all else I'm thinking about keeping a rubber band or clear band around that part to keep it open and hopefully the spring gets used to that and decreases tension.

Will the automorph work on the feet with springs removed? Just curious if anyone has tried it out.

Anyone ever experience this? This is affecting the 2008 repaint I have which has the sword, silver paint and a different head sculpt. The figure has aged well otherwise aside from the arms being able to untab easily from the torso.

Currently I have the figure leaning forward a bit on the foot with the affected spring in an effort to condition the spring into being stretched out more.

I don't have access to mine right now, but I know mine had this issue the last time I handled him. Never did figure our a solution.

Mine also has the same issue... It only appears on the "Premium Version" version, but my regular and Nightwatch variants seem fine.

I dunno if my Tribute version has it...

It's been a decade since i got them out of storage, but i distinctively remember getting very annoyed at that flaw of the Premium version, because it's the one with the headsculpt I particularly like.

    jya na!
