Selling my collection here. From G1 to now, Botcon, 3rd party, name it. Updated 04.30.13. Shrink-wrapped (with twisties... I wonder why since it's only a loose test shot?) ![]() Robot mode #1 ![]() Robot mode #2 ![]() With other Movie Primes ![]() With felllow Autobots ![]() Fighting Megatron ![]() Truck mode with other Autobots ![]() ![]() VEHICLE MODE The pictures speak for themselves... almost. It looks good, but it doesn't feel THAT good. A lot of spring-loaded stuff translates into a not-so-tight feel. The rear of the cab sometimes wants to unfold if you grab the truck by the roof and the missiles sometimes fire (in the rear tires - not good!). Classics Prime has a better feel. The Cullen gimmick is pretty cool : you open the door and he disappears (flips back). You close the door and the little peg pushes a mechanism to unfold the seat and reveal the driver. Overall, a very nice truck, especially with the darker blue that has some sparkling effect to it. TRANSFORMATION A bit in the style of Ironhide as it has a decently challenging transformation. I don't really know how I got from point A to point B but I made it. Can't really explain what happens in between, but the leg transformation is very cool with a lot of shifting and folding and twisting. I wonder what the designer was smoking that day! All the automorphing is in the legs. Some panels move inside the legs, others outside. Pretty clever. The arms unfold from the under the cab, head too. I like how they hide the torso (upside-down behind the real cab). ROBOT MODE This is where the toy shines. Very poseable, imposing, guns can be shoulder-mounted or hand-held, firing missiles, very good poseability, quite stable, hard to ask for more! The open hands are quite a departure from older Transformers, but I like it, I was getting a bit tired of drilled out fists. Piping works pretty good too, although that particular shade of blue is so-so. Overall, it's a good toy that could have had a tighter fit in truck mode. Otherwise, it has to be the coolest Prime since... Classics Optimus Prime. ![]() Missile launcher/gun ![]() |

*sigh* I'm going to have to buy every single damn Autobot toy from the movie line. They're just too good. |

The Seibertron gallery has him next to LROP, and this guy is a smaller scale (toys are about the same size, but as this is a larger truck model with a sleeper section and the wheelbase is a bit narrower, this is a smaller scale). My guess is that this guy's scale kind of hovers between LROP and Classic, making him a tad small when compared to deluxe cars and a tad large when compared to basic cars, but I'd like to know for sure (he does look a little small next to the other movie Autobots).
