    SHOE MODE

I knew the scale was to be 1:2, but when you have it in front of you, that's when you realize how tiny it is! My wife thought it was a shoe for our nephew. Let me tell you : it really looks like a real shoe. The finish looks like synthetic leather, the sole looks almost squishy and the real laces are a nice touch.

    TRANSFORMATION

Without instructions, I didn't really know where to start. Mostly a shellformer, but some cool steps to do, like how you have to swing the torso piece into position and move the arms into place. Pretty clever for what it is. Weapon halves are stored on each side of the shoe.

    ROBOT MODE

It's hard to position the shoe halves on the back, but overall, the robot is pretty decent. Headsculpt is a bit cartoony, but I like it. Decently poseable despite the kibble. Doesn't look quite as good viewed from the back but that had to be expected. Pretty cool that Meg is wearing the shoes he transforms into! Certainly the most original mold we've had in a long time. For those who wonder, he's slitghtly shorter than 6Ti WW Meg / GI Joe Meg. Oh, and there's a hole in his right forearm so you can peg the gun in fusion canon fashion (gun can be configurated 2 different ways btw, depending on which end you decide to peg the gun's front half).

    More pics...

Very Interesting figure. I may have to try and get one.

I'm going to have to tie up the laces or something in bot mode.

Very nice! Much better in appearance than the OP shoe-former.

I love the idea behind these, but I'm simply not feeling them. Perhaps I'll pick them up if I see them at Botcon, but they aren't something I'm overly worried about getting.

Great idea, interesting concept, and it looks really cool (really appreciate the advance look too). There's just something missing, can't put my finger on what though.

No pics of the figure holding the gun in Fusion Cannon mode? :D

I didn't know he could do that, so I'd like to see how it looks.

Looks waaaay better than I thought he would.

The whole shoe disguise thing could've worked even better if he'd came with the opposite shoe, possibly a non-transforming dummy.

I'm so glad I preordered my prime one when I did. I don't think they're the BEST looking thing around, but they're just so damn weird, I like the idea.

Nice! I'm so glad i preorderd the set from BBTS. Once again i'm surprised by how small these latest TFs are(Blackout,Realgear, etc). Megs looks awesome though, he & prime will look so damn good posed on top of my JORDAN sneaker collection. Besides a new car,a new TF, or being in love-a fresh pair of sneakers ranks up there! Thanks for sharing-CANT FRIGGIN WAIT!

Received my Sports Label Nike Free 7.0 Convoy today. Nothing much to add, it's exactly the same toy. The only difference is the head. Deco screams Prime very loud with the blue and the red. Cartoonish headsculpt is pretty cool too, I dig the point/elongated earpieces. Another nice piece!

PS : the red looks a bit pinkish in the pictures but it's actually a very nice rich red.

I just got the Nike Convoy today at a local import shop ($40.00 not bad).

This piece just screams cool. Love the transformation, totally agree with the OP review. Laces are a bit stiff, and is probably the only major difference in the retail release.

The shoe box he comes in is amazing. Plenty of pics on Seibertron.com On the inside flap is a nice picture of Convoy in Robot mode, and his function is "Cybertron Commander / Runner" :)

Articulation is pretty cool. Big shoulder shell pieces don't get in the way too much, and for such a shell former, that is the only kibble he has surprisingly. The whole bottom of the shoe is on his backside.

Friends thought Nike Convoy was ridiculously cool, and really liked the high production value of this novelty piece. We are all big Microman fans, so Nike Convoy isn't much of a stretch. Feels kind of like and extended universe to the Microman series. And as such is an excellent piece.

Will get Megs soon as I like his deco.
