News Credits: 12 | This guy gets points for having an alt mode with absolutely no sign of robot parts visible. The transformation is kind of interesting and fun. Also the head-sculpt is nice. Then it all goes downhill. The back kibble sort of just hangs onto the back with nothing to secure it. He is super back-heavy and hard to keep balanced. This is hampered even more by his loose thigh swivels and loose feet. I tried to maybe have him use his long guns as a sort of walking cane, but they barely fit into the hands and just pop out. Also his shoulder articulation is atrocious. The missle launchers are pure crap. They rarely fire the missle, and if it does fire, it just falls out with no distance. This figure had so much potential. Read "Gears' Comedy Explosion!!!" How awesome is Gears? |

Yes, the shoulder articulation blows, and back kibble doesn't really lock in, but doesn't flop around on mine. And the only one of the remainder of your problems I've had is the rare failure of the launchers to fire. But when they do fire, they soar, baby.
If and when you see these at retail, if I were you, I'd give serious thought to exchanging it. JARODIMUS Newest Addition(s): TF:RotF Fearswoop & Soundwave ("Gathering at the Nemesis"). |
