Is there places that still offer.it, or is that something that's long out of stock I would have to find from a member or eBay? What's the average price of it?

I sold my Megs on ebay last month and haven't looked back, imo Hegemon blows MP5 outta the water easily. The only way I woulda kept MP5 is to keep him in gun mode and mount him on the wall, kinda like a real gun but if you've got him you gotta get the add on kit.

In a funny incident, a buddy of mine had his transformed into pistol mode and had just finished attaching the JustiToys upgrade set (silencer and stock). He had just picked up the entire thing with his finger on the trigger when someone knocked on his screen door. He turned around with it in his hands and scared the crap out of the pizza guy delivering the pie he'd forgotten he'd ordered. I'm glad this story didn't end up with disastrous consequences, but I really hope your friend learns from this experience. There are real-life consequences to owning something that resembles a real-life gun. Owners of G1 and MP Megatron really need to use some good judgment. It's because of instances like this that give rise to arguments for orange barrel plugs.

I saw this thread yesterday and it made me want to get megatron out of the box and mess with him. hes been in storage for about a year and dear god the cosmic rust was bad on it.

I dont have it on mine, But should I do something Preemtive on it? coat of future mabye?

I cleaned it off with some tarnish remover but the spine is a little hard to clean so the cosmic rust stays on there.

Took mine apart this weekend so I could reach the spine. Should've taken a pic because it was a set of legs, a spine with armsskeleton and a head on top. Quite funny in a morbid way

But still was a b**** to get clean.

Tarnish remover and then a coat of Future to seal it should keep you straight.

It's the oxygen that you need to keep of the figure - I'm sure oiling it would get the same effect but you prolly don't want to do that.
