Just bought a loose version of this dude from a shop in BC (seriously O_O).
CAMERA MODE:
Very. Very. Small. The thin width and small proportions remind me of those cheapo 'spy digital cameras' you can get at Radio Shack and the like. There are a load of sculpted immobile camera control buttons on the back, surrounding the sticker-monitor of Cybertron Ransack's mug.
One cool feature: The shutter button works! You can push it in, it clicks, then pops back up. Kinda like Classics Megatron's trigger. A very nice touch.
TRANSFORMATION:
Incredibly intricate for a basic, in my opinion. It is -not- a simple case of 'arms fold in, legs fold in'. Every limb + the head rotate around the central axis of the camera shutter.
However, it isn't
BW Neo-style pointless fiddly-fu.
ROBOT MODE:
I was surprised at how large the bot mode is, given the TEENY camera mode. The proportions are excellent, and there's some awesome asymmetry in the design. Both legs are different, both arms are different, and one side of his forehead has a small red light painted on (the camera flash warning light).
He has orange lightpiped eyes that seriously work. Any amount of light behind his head leaves his optics positively blazing orange.
The posability is nigh-perfect. Nothing bumps into each other, and all the joints have very free movement. As a joint-count:
-Balljointed Neck
-Circular "Shrug/Sag" Shoulder Joints
-Balljointed Shoulders
-Balljointed Elbows
-Opening Claw Hands
-Balljointed Hips
-Mid-Thigh Swivels
-Knee Hinges
The only notable joints missing are wrist swivels (his claw hands are stuck going up and down), a waist joint (seriously, that'd be asking for too much with this design), and ankle joints (oh boo hoo).
Some of the excellent design touches on the robot mode include the camera flash internals mounted on his forehead (his head stores in the flash itself in camera mode), the outer flash components mounted on one shoulder like a hands-free weapon, the shutter-torso's wonderful blending in with the surrounding limbs, and the large + characterful eyes.
OVERALL
If you only want one Real Gear figure (ya rite guyz), make it Spy Shot. I paid $22 CDN for him in person and loose, and I feel like I got my money's worth. For $10-$12 CDN? It's a steal.
And if he's any indication of the rest of Real Gear, I'm almost at the point of ordering a case upon release.

As for pictures: There are tons out there already! Does anyone have any specific requests?
