    Titanium Cheetor

Just got my Titanium Cheetor from Hasbrotoyshop. This is by far the SLOWEST they sent me anything. It took a week and a half. I ordered a leather case from Samsung's website the same day and got the item 4 days later.

The toy looks really cool. I don't have pics yet(my digital camera is broken). In robot mode it looks to make a different look to the already strange design of Beast Machines Cheetor. In bot mode he's a little shorter than Titanium Rodimus Prime. His arm articulation is not as good as I hoped because of his beast legs. His tail doesn't fold or anything so it looks strange in bot mode. He has those swords that he used in the toon and there's place for them on his legs.

As for his beast mode, I must say he looks alright but I think the beast mode's head is TOO small and his back legs seem too long.

The BIGGEST problem I have with him is his transformation. When trying to transform him back to robot mode, his robot head gets stuck as you're trying to fold the beast head down. That I could use a little help on. AS for the rest, the toy is VERY cool and holds together well. So if you're looking for a good Beast Machines Cheetor, this is a worthy take but the only thing I'd worry about would be the blasted head. I give it a B

The robot head folds further into the body than you first think. You can push it back until you hear a *click*. It's pretty tight but it will click further back.

Yes, I've never had a problem with that. Mine doesn't click either, so I assume mine is slightly looser or something. Only loose joint anywhere on him though.

Oh, and merged this with the existing topic :)

I'm going to have to try that "click noise" when I get off of work. I've been afraid to transform him back into beast mode.

So can ANYONE take pics of it? I'm really on the fence (if I ever see it on toy shelves) and some pics would help a lot.

This is a good figure, you really got to push to get the weapons on the pegs other wise it was a pretty easy transformation, and nice paint apps.

EDIT: oh damn I can't for the life of me get him back to robot mode!

Decided to get it with Sunstrom through HTS...don;t regret it but there's not much there honestly. Flip out head, flip up beast head and arms, thats it. Nicely detailed in robot mode though, even if it's not totally accurate...but it's as close as possible with a BM character.

I love this guy, he's simple, but cool and sleek. Nice paint.

I do, and always will, refer to these as "tits". You can't stop me.

After having given up on ever seeing this guy at retail, I guess I got lucky. I walked into Target yesterday, and there are one each of Titanium RID Prime, the Fallen and Cheetor. I wanted all three, but had the money for only one. So Cheetor it was.

    - This thing has some heft to it. I think this is the first beast-former since the G1 Predacons to incorporate metal, and it adds a lot to the figure.

    - Not quite show accurate. I think Supreme Cheetor still holds that claim, but Titanium Cheetor is reasonably close, and beats out deluxe and Night Slash Cheetor. The color is more a pale gold than a yellow, and it really does look very good. THe green and red bits break up the gold nicely, and the purple spots add a bit of visual texture.

    - Is this the first BMac Cheetor that doesn't have the arms hampered by a gimmick of some sort. Hallelujah! I can pose him without worrying about an extending claw and without worrying about the arms not staying in place, a la Night Slash Cheetor. And the swords are removable, which is a nice touch. Too bad they're that soft rubbery plastic.

    - The only real flaw I find with the bot mode is that the tail just hangs there with no way to conceal it or fold it away.

    - Transformation is dead simple. Robot arms become cheetah forelegs. Robot legs become cheetah hind legs. waist rotates, and cheetah head folds up to cover robot head. The robot chest is now the cheetah back. We're left with a cat that has very very large shoulders, a stumpy torso and huge calves. The swords can be stored on the cat thighs if needed.

Overall: a good effort, and probably the best rendition of Beast Machines Cheetor. All the actual figures from the line itself are hobbled in some way, though Night Slash Cheetor is pretty decent. Titanium Cheetor has the same simplistic transformation as the others, but looks far better than any of them. I don't know if it's quite an A, but it's at least a B+. A nice figure.

I think Cheetor is a nifty toy, and definitely the cream of the crop for Titaniums, but people who go on about his show accuracy could stand to check out the show model again. Titanium Cheetor's more like a "What would Classics or a new-mold BW10th Cheetor look like?" to me. Probably for the best, as the spindly legs were the death of most other BM Cheetor toys.

The way I see it, it's still the closest we've ever got to an accurate Cheetor. And as you say, the design didn't lend itself to a toy all that well.

I'd just like to add that I prefer folding out the beast feet for robot mode, which gives it greater sleekness and show accuracy BUT you do need to balance it against something to make that work (or kitbash) because he's basically standing on his toes.

I'll concede some of those points.

Supreme Cheeter was good - except he was WAY too tall. I wanted him as a kid, got him, and VERY quickly went back to using my TM II Cheetor once I found out how much of a liability the size was. Really, this guy was the most show-accurate, but he had other problems.

I kinda agree that Titanium Cheetor is like the "Classics" version, but look at it this way - it's clearly the show character. He's got an awesome headsculpt that looks like the show character, the dual swords, and an overall good robot mode.

I'm going to say I like this figure. He's a solid representation of the show character, and the painted metal gives him a shiny look that you just don't get from flat plastic. My one big complaint is the lack of articulation in the arms. The elbows really could have been made to go totally straight with a bit more effort. But as a display piece he's great.

Supreme cheetor still takes it for play value though. Yeah I liked Supreme Cheetor. I'm a strange person. Could be the fact that it was only $10. Would have been a better figure if it were smaller. But this isn't about supreme cheets it's about Titanium.

Great titanium, probably the most tight and stable titanium yet on top of that. He could use some more joints but otherwise, a great figure.

Also the head di give me trouble at first but I've found that you just have to make sure you push it all the way back before transforming, so that the head is resting inside the beast mode's neck.

    Wow! What sweetness! Awesome paint!

Most show-accurate Beast Machines Cheetor yet.

Best Titanium next to The Fallen.
